# Refrigeration Operating Engineer

What You'll Do You will operate and monitor automated control systems for an ammonia refrigeration plant, ensuring all systems function safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include conducting daily inspections, recording and analyzing equipment readings, performing routine maintenance and minor repairs, and maintaining operational logs. Occasional travel may be required to visit facility operations. Essential Functions Operate automated or computerized control systems for the ammonia refrigeration plant. Conduct daily inspections to ensure all systems are functioning safely and as expected. Measure temperature, fuel flow, and pressure, and record equipment readings. Enter and analyze equipment data in the SAP system. Troubleshoot issues and perform corrective actions or minor repairs as needed. Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning and lubricating machinery and components. Maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities.
