You will analyze financial and non-financial data, prepare management reports and presentations, and contribute to integration efforts for newly acquired locations. Up to 12% travel is required.\nEssential Functions\nAssist with forecasting and annual operating budget preparation for facilities within the region, including compiling data and preparing presentations.\nSupport the month-end close process by providing variance explanations and analyzing financial and key metrics results for sites within the region.\nContribute to the integration of newly acquired locations by supporting training and development for site management to ensure smooth transitions to company processes.\nGain understanding of assigned warehouse locations to identify opportunities for forecasting yield management, and return on investment.\nReview and collaborate with IT teams to ensure accuracy of data used for reporting, and address anomalies as needed.\nConsolidate business commentary and results into key themes, and prepare management reports summarizing operational results for the period.\nPartner with Corporate Finance and other functional departments on value-add projects, strategic initiatives, and business cases.\nOther essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.\nWhat Experience and Education You Need\nBachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics and minimum 3 years of financial analyst experience required.\nProven experience preparing financial documents, reports, and presentations for executive audiences.\nProven track record of contributing to team projects resulting in process improvements.\nAbility to independently identify and resolve issues in dynamic environments while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.\nDemonstrated proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and financial and business intelligence systems like Oracle, SAP, SAP-BPC, HYPERION, ESSBASE, Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC), SAP Analytics Cloud, and Tableau.\nWhat Could Set You Apart\nPrevious exposure to Operations, Manufacturing, Transportation, or Warehousing industries.\nEffective verbal and written communication.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks efficiently.\nAdaptability in changing environments.\nCollaborative approach to problem-solving.\nGeneral knowledge of data integration and reporting systems.\nPhysical Requirements\nRequires several hours per day of sitting, getting up and down from chairs, reaching, and/or bending.\nRequires manual dexterity with normal hand and finger movements for typical office work, including the operation of computers, telephones, and similar equipment.\nRequires ability to comprehend and communicate with others verbally and/or in writing.\nMay require travel by automobile and airplane for business.\nMay require visits to warehouse operations in temperatures at or below freezing.\nMay require the occasional lifting, carrying, positioning, and/or moving of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.\nAmericold is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
