This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and availability of inventory while driving best-practice processes and continuous improvement across the site.\nYou will play a critical leadership role, partnering with Operations and the National Inventory Manager to maintain consistent standards and deliver accurate reporting across the region.\nRoster: Monday - Friday Day Shift\nKey Responsibilities:\nInventory Accuracy & Shelf-LifeMonitor aged and short-dated stock, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues such as receipt errors, quarantine holds, and incorrect put-away. Validate stock-on-hand before operational release.\n\nSystems & Master DataMaintain accurate WMS product setup (slotting, allocation, replenishment) and manage in-transit/unslotted inventory to ensure system integrity.\n\nCycle Counting & Stock ControlLead cycle counts to meet national and customer requirements, investigate variances, and address root causes of discrepancies.\n\nLocation & Warehouse AccuracyConduct regular location audits and maintain check digit accuracy to improve picking and reduce errors.\n\nWorkflow ManagementManage RF task exceptions, including overdue put-aways, replenishment failures, and unconfirmed receipts.\n\nReporting & Stock IssuesInvestigate stock discrepancies and out-of-stocks, identify root causes, and report findings with corrective actions.\n\nProduct Recall SupportTrace product history (batch, lot, UBD, PO) and support recall identification and retrieval processes.\n\nPeople LeadershipLead and develop the Inventory Team, drive safety and KPI performance, and deliver training on systems and processes.\n\nWhat Experience and Education You Need.\nProven experience in operations or inventory management (minimum 3 years)\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead and develop large teams\n\nStrong understanding of warehouse and distribution operations\n\nExcellent people leadership and stakeholder management skills\n\nExperience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capability\n\nRelevant logistics or supply chain qualification (preferred)\n\nAbility to make sound decisions under pressure\n\nWhat We Offer\nAt Americold, we recognise that our people are critical to our success.
