Experience or exposure to an HR Business Partner role is a plus.\nJob Responsibilities\nAssist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.\nSupport month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.\nAssist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.\nMonitor budget variances, analyze financial trends, and communicate significant discrepancies to the Controller or management.\nHelp maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and minimize financial risk.\nOversee or assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing.\nEnsure accounting records are maintained accurately and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and applicable regulatory requirements.\nAssist with annual audits by preparing supporting documentation and coordinating requests from external auditors.\nSupport tax filings, regulatory reporting, and compliance with applicable local, state, and federal requirements.\nIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.\nCollaborate with Human Resources on payroll reconciliations, employee-related expenses, benefits accounting, and other HR-related financial matters.\nSupport management with financial data, performance metrics, and ad hoc financial analysis.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\n RequirementsStrong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.\nExperience with accounting software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.\nAbility to work collaboratively with Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, and other departments.\nKnowledge of payroll processes, internal controls, and regulatory compliance is preferred.\nExposure to HR Business Partner responsibilities or cross-functional HR collaboration is a plus.\n Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.\nTwo to five years of relevant accounting or finance experience preferred.\nExperience with financial reporting, account reconciliations, budgeting, and month-end closing activities preferred.\nExperience with payroll accounting or HR-related processes is an advantage.\nCPA or CMA certification, or progress toward certification, is a plus.\nExperience supporting or partnering with Human Resources in an HR Business Partner capacity is a
