As a Settlement Coordinator at Americor, you'll work together with creditors to find solutions that will help our clients move forward. You’ll be coordinating settlements with our most transactional creditors, where your customer service and communication skills can help you shine in an entry-level role in negotiations.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nWork directly with creditors to process reduced settlements on behalf of our clients\nCalculate settlement amounts within department guidelines to ensure fair outcomes for clients and creditors alike\nManage an active queue of accounts, staying organized and consistent to meet monthly production goals\nReview client accounts to assess available funds and determine next steps\nGather and submit documentation needed for settlement approval and payment\nCollaborate with teammates to share insights and support each other in reaching the best outcomes for clients\nMaintain clear, effective communication\nPerform other related duties as assigned\nREQUIREMENTS\nEffective communication skills\nA high degree of initiative and a positive, can-do attitude\nGenuine passion for helping people, with an outstanding focus on clients' needs\nGood judgment and adaptability in fast-changing conversations\nAbility to meet and exceed monthly goals\nClose attention to detail and ability to apply policies and procedures consistently\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE\nMinimum of 1 year of experience in debt settlement negotiations, collections, mortgage loan processing, or customer service\nDebt settlement negotiation experience preferred\nBack-end collections or recovery collections experience preferred\nMortgage operations experience a plus\nThis job description does not include every duty or responsibility.
