Support complex enterprise architectures by developing, designing, configuring and implementing detailed engineering strategies/solutions that meet and/or exceed capability, flexibility, scalability, performance and reliability objectives for a variety of large projects, across multiple technologies, within technical area of expertise. Provide technical leadership to team/vendor/contractor resources, ensuring viability of designs, flawless execution, and seamless transition into the production environment.Key Responsibilities\nIndependently perform highly complex assignments.\nNetwork design, architecture, management, and deployment of new and existing routing and switching within campus and data center networks.\nLead proper execution of network changes & updates in accordance with corporate security policies to meet business requirements.\nResponsible for network performance and security monitoring in addition to being able to troubleshoot network-related issues in a logical manner.\nResearch, recommend, and establish innovative solutions for proper capacity planning that scale with the business growth.\nWhere possible, introduce automation for daily routine administrative tasks.\nCollaborates with all Information Technology disciplines.\nCreates, maintains, and updates documentation with most relevant information.\nEscalation resource during major incidents and outages as needed.\nPerform other special project and duties as assigned.\nPerform problem diagnosis, initiate problem resolution, and provide ongoing life-cycle support for network deployments and upgrades.\nCollaborate with team members to ensure project scoping activities are aligned with architectural objectives.\nParticipate and provide input into the continual refinement of processes, policies, and best practices to ensure optimal performance and availability of technologies.\nContinuously develop specialized knowledge and technical subject matter expertise by remaining apprised of industry trends, the direction of emerging technologies, and their potential value to the business.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelors degree in computer science or related field; or equivalent work experience.\nMinimum 7-10 years of network design and engineering experience required.\nStrong analytical and customer service abilities.\nAbility to communicate and articulate technical information across various organizational levels.\nStrong thought leadership abilities and a highly innovative problem solver.\nAbility to coach and mentor experienced Network engineering staff.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nFirewalls - Palo Alto, Cisco ASA\nF5 - Big IP, LTM, GTM, ASM\nDDI, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, NTP\nInfoblox, CloudFlare\nDDoS - Akamai, AWS, Azure, CloudFlare\nCloud Networking - AWS, Azure\nAutomation & scripting\nRouting, Switching\nNetwork monitoring, NetFlow, capacity management\nPacket capture and analysis - Gigastor, Wireshark\nVisa Sponsorship\nApplicants must have a valid work authorization that does not now, or in the future, require visa sponsorship for employment in the United States (e.g., H-1B, F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, TN).\nIn-Office Collaboration\nWe are a client-centric, relationship-based business. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
