The ideal candidate is comfortable coaching engineers, partnering with stakeholders, and contributing to the codebase when needed.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead and mentor a team of software engineers\nDrive agile development practices and delivery excellence\nPartner with Product, Operations, and business stakeholders to define priorities\nParticipate in architecture and technical design decisions\nContribute directly to software development when needed\nEnsure code quality, performance, security, and reliability standards are maintained\nRemove blockers and support team productivity\nManage sprint planning, capacity planning, and technical roadmaps\nConduct performance management, coaching, and career development\nFoster a collaborative and accountable engineering culture\nSupport implementation of AI and automation-driven solutions\nWhat You Bring\nRequired Qualifications\n7+ years of software engineering experience\n2+ years of people management experience\nStrong hands-on coding background in Java, TypeScript, Node.js, and SQL\nExperience building and supporting cloud-based applications\nExperience with APIs, microservices, and scalable distributed systems\nStrong communication and stakeholder-management skills\nExperience leading Agile development teams\nPreferred Qualifications\nMortgage, fintech, or financial services experience\nExperience with AI-powered applications and automation platforms\nExperience mentoring engineers and developing technical leaders\nAzure cloud experience\nExperience with CI/CD and DevOps best practices\nTech Stack\nLanguages: Java, TypeScript, Node.js, SQL\nArchitecture: APIs, microservices, cloud-based systems, and scalable distributed applications\n Focus Areas: Internal tools, automation, AI-powered applications, sales and operations platforms, and customer experience technology\nHigh-speed internet required for remote work, Cable or Fiber ONLY with the ability to connect via Ethernet.
