The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with exceptional leadership capabilities and maintains hands-on understanding of modern software engineering practices.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead software engineering functions across AmeriSave technology teams\nDevelop and execute technology strategy aligned with business objectives\nOversee engineering leaders responsible for Marketing, Operations, Sales, and Enterprise Technology\nDrive large-scale platform modernization and architectural initiatives\nEstablish engineering standards, governance, and development best practices\nLead AI, automation, and digital transformation initiatives\nPartner closely with Executive Leadership to identify strategic technology opportunities\nEnsure scalability, security, compliance, and reliability across all platforms\nBuild and mentor high-performing engineering management teams\nDrive delivery excellence, innovation, and operational efficiency throughout the organization\nEvaluate emerging technologies and make strategic investment recommendations\nOwn engineering budget planning, resource allocation, and organizational growth\nWhat You Bring\nRequired Qualifications\n15+ years of progressive software engineering experience\n8+ years leading large engineering organizations\nProven success leading Directors, VPs, and Engineering Managers\nDeep hands-on experience with modern software architecture, cloud platforms, APIs, and microservices\nStrong technical background with Java, TypeScript, Node.js, SQL, and enterprise application development\nExperience leading AI and automation initiatives\nTrack record building highly scalable customer-facing and operational platforms\nDemonstrated success aligning technology investments with measurable business outcomes\nStrong executive communication and stakeholder management skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nMortgage, fintech, banking, or high-volume transaction experience\nExperience leading remote and distributed engineering organizations\nMBA and/or advanced technical degree\nExperience with digital customer acquisition and marketing technology\nTech Stack\nLanguages: Java, TypeScript, Node.js, SQL\nArchitecture: API-driven architecture, microservices, cloud-based systems\n Focus Areas: Marketing technology, operations technology, sales platforms, enterprise applications, AI, automation, analytics, and conversion optimization\nHigh-speed internet required for remote work, Cable or Fiber ONLY with the ability to connect via Ethernet. Minimum speeds: 70/30 Mbps (basic), 200-300/35-70 Mbps (shared), 500-1,000/100+ Mbps (heavy use).\n**Please note that the compensation and benefit information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to applicable state and local laws on pay transparency.
