The ideal candidate will have experience in preventative maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.\nResponsibilities:\nPreventative Maintenance: Gas, Electric, Water, and Steam Powered Commercial Kitchen, Refrigeration and HVAC Equipment\nCustomer Service: Provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating with clients, explaining repair procedures, and offering solutions to minimize downtime\nSafety Compliance: Ensure all repairs and maintenance are performed in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards\nDocumentation: Maintain detailed records of all repairs, services, and parts used. Prepare and submit service reports and invoices promptly\nInventory Management: Keep track of tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory. Order and replenish supplies as needed. Maintain truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked on company vehicle.\nTraining and Development: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices through continuous learning and training\nRequirements:\nEducation: High school diploma or GED required. Technical or vocational training in appliance repair, HVAC, or a related field is preferred\nExperience: Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment\nTechnical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and gas systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics\nCertifications: Relevant certifications such as EPA 608, CFESA (Commercial Food Equipment Service Association) certification, or equivalent are a plus\nDriving License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record as outlined with our company policy. \nBackground Screening: Must be able to pass a satisfactory background screening\nPhysical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, stand, bend, and work in confined spaces for extended periods\nProblem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and fix issues efficiently\nCommunication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members\nTime Management: Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work independently or as part of a team\nCustomer Focus: Dedicated to providing high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction\nDriving License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record as outlined with our company policy\nBackground Screening: Must be able to pass a satisfactory background screening\nTime management and attendance\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to lift and carry up to 50 to 75 pounds; frequently lift and or move up to 100 pounds with assistance and heavy lift equipment\nComfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and heights\nAbility to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods and climb up and down ladders\nExtensive daily travel to work site locations\nExposure to electrical, steam, and high heat units that require extreme caution and safety equipment \nAmeriserve is an equal opportunity employer.
