The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a variety of commercial kitchen appliances and systems to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with industry standards.\nResponsibilities:\nEquipment Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, walk in coolers/freezers, dish machines, fryers, mixers, tilt skillets, and HVAC systems\nSupport the client: Oversee all network services and perform tests on equipment and circuits. Troubleshoot issues and resolve any requests or concerns that come up in a timely manner. Perform tests to ensure systems are error-free\nCustomer Service: Maintain relationships with customers and follow company guidelines\nTroubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and gas related issues with commercial kitchen equipment\nRequirements:\nHigh school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree or certification preferred\nExperience a minimum of 2-5 years in repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment\nAbility to build strong relationships with the customer and display excellent communication skills\nAbility to manage your workflow in a timely and consistent manager\nAbility to lift to 55 pounds\nProblem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude\nPreferred relevant certifications such as EPA 608, CFESA (Commercial Food Equipment Service Associate) in gas, electrical, steam, refrigeration, or electrical\nMust have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record as outlined with our company policy\nMust be able to pass a satisfactory background and drug screening\nComputer skills including Microsoft office\nKnowledgeable about all safety requirements\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to lift and carry up to 50 to 75 pounds; frequently lift and or move up to 100 pounds with assistance and heavy lift equipment\nComfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and heights\nAbility to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods and climb up and down ladders\nExtensive daily travel to work site locations\nExposure to electrical, steam, and high heat units that require extreme caution and safety equipment \nAmeriserve is an equal opportunity employer.
