The Billing/AR Analyst will assist in expense accounting, preparing invoices, obtaining billing approval and calculating incoming fees due. Hourly range: $25-$30/hr.\nThe benefits of belonging - what’s in it for you?\nFull benefits within 30 days\nMedical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, life insurance, disability insurance\n401(k) match program\nPaid vacation, holidays, and sick time\nCommitment to your safety through boot and prescription safety glasses reimbursement\nCareer and learning development with an extensive training program through our Amerit University\nEmployee referral program, up to $1,000 bonus\nASE certification program with fee reimbursement and bonus\nEmployee recognition platform that includes opportunities to redeem points for merchandise\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\n24/7 nurse triage line\nEmployee discounts on cell phone service and entertainment tickets\nEmployee resource groups (ERGs) that foster inclusion\nWellness and fitness programs through our providers\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nShift: Monday - Friday (full-time hours)\nMaintaining journal entries with regards to income, expenses, fund transfers and any other financial transactions.\nCreating and sending out accurate and timely invoices\nWeekly invoice error correction of rejected invoices, including research in client's system and review with client oversight managers\nResearching challenges, deleting invoices, correcting time / task codes, approval to regenerate corrected invoices, communication of changes to client\nProcessing credits and debits on incorrect billing -- discovery primarily from internal financial reconciliation and client manager challenges\nRate code discrepancies, over / under billing errors -- research issues, create solutions, reach consensus with field/client, and approve invoice entry\nReviewing warranty credits, parts damage, other specialized billing -- research, document, approve release; communication to client / field group\nReimbursable expenses -- review for accuracy / reasonability, periodic expense research\nGeneral inquiries related to invoicing and billing specific to the contract, allowable employee titles and bill rates, movement of employees from one state's contract rate to another.\nKey Competencies and Minimum Education\nMinimum 3 years' experience in Billing / Accounts Receivable experience\nStrong intermediate to advanced skills in Excel (v-lookups and pivot experience with high volumes of data).\nBachelor's degree in business, accounting, mathematics or finance, or equivalent working experience.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nExcellent customer service skills\nProficiency in MS Office\nSome experience in accounting software; PeopleSoft experience strongly desired\nDemonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision\nOrganized and detail oriented\nWorking Conditions\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
