The Service Writer will be responsible for the scheduling, customer communications, and KPI’s associated with day-to-day maintenance and repairs at our on-site customer facilities. Service Writer’s will work together with Amerit Fleet Managers (FM) and well as customer CMAs for the scheduling and tracking of all routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance repairs. Service Writers are the lynchpin for communications and status updates ensuring business partners are aware of unit status, work completed, and out of services levels. Finally, Service Writer’s will track KPI’s associated with the accounts to ensure cycle time, aging work, PM completion and downtime.\nPay & Schedule\nPay: $35.00 - $40.00/hour (depending on experience)Pay Frequency: Weekly pay - every FridaySchedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am-2:30pm\nThe Benefits of Belonging - Why Team Members Choose Amerit\nWeekly Pay - Paid every Friday Benefits Start Fast - Medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, life, and disability coverage within 30 days 401(k) Match - Plan for your future Paid Time Off - Vacation, holidays, and sick time Safety Reimbursement - Boots and prescription safety glasses Training Through Amerit University - Extensive learning and development program ASE Certification Program - Fee reimbursement and bonus Employee Referral Program - Up to $1,000 bonus Employee Recognition - Redeem points for merchandise Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - Plus a 24/7 nurse triage line Employee Discounts - Cell phone service and entertainment tickets Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) - Fostering inclusion\nWhat You’ll Do\nSupports the Fleet Manager (FM) in day-to-day operations for all on-site and satellite locations in your area of responsibility. \nService Writers will schedule all routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance throughout the facility, using a computerized maintenance management system\nService Writers will partner with the customer CMAs, which oversee each facility and will ensure timely communication and partnership for service, repairs and daily FMS updates. \nMonitor repairs and repair orders from initial scheduling, task assignment, parts/service requirements, and task completion throughout the repair lifecycle, to include a quality review for time and materials, job coding, and customer communications when return to service. \nEffectively communicates with all area equipment owners, technicians, managers, and suppliers to maximize productivity and minimize downtime to operational customers.\nMaintain and monitor all due dates for all preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure 100% compliance and cycle times for scheduling. \nAbility to partner with key stakeholders for parts, services, and transportation of Assets.\nBuild and report weekly summaries to show repairs KPIs, as well as completed and in-progress work, average cycle time, as well as PM completions. \nDevelop ongoing key performance metrics to drive efficiency and process improvement throughout the business.\nAssist and monitor work order to invoice progress in FMS, partner with Amerit FP&A teams to verify revenue, hours, COGs and other data for the business.\nHighly motivated self-starter with great communication and planning skills.\nInterprets performance data and develops periodic reports summarizing department progress toward implementing and executing the maintenance program\nWhat We’re Looking For\nService Writer Experience \nFleet maintenance or Industrial maintenance experience\nData management\nDemonstrated experience in providing a high level of customer service\nUnderstanding of service intervals and standard repair times\nPrevious work in Fleet Management Systems is a plus\nExperience with BI platforms and report building\nMinimum of 3 years of automotive / technical experience\nFleet maintenance, Automotive, or Industrial experience\nHighly proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook\nAbility to review and analyze data for weekly KPIs\nExcellent organization, planning, and communication skills\nWorking Conditions\nThis role involves exposure to heavy traffic areas, dust, diesel fumes, noise, chemicals, oils, greases, and other irritants. The position requires the ability to access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance, and to move and position heavy objects, including parts and supplies. Frequent movement such as bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, and crawling is required, as well as the ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
