As the primary point of contact at our clinic, you will play acrucial role in ensuring every client interaction-whether over the phone or in person-results ina positive and memorable impression. Your ability to create a welcoming environment and deliver exceptional service will be key to our success.\nCSR Responsibilities: \nUnderstands, communicates, and properly prioritizesscheduled appointments, client education, and lobby triage by vaccine, wellness, parasite, and retail needs to ensure an efficient and productive schedule and daily workflow.\n\nOperates multiple-line telephone system. Answers incoming calls, places, callers on hold, transfers calls, and pages staff members appropriately. Takes and routes messages for veterinarians and staff members.\n\nEmpathizes with clients and remainscompassionate and well-mannered if a client becomes emotional ordiscourteous. Remainscalm and collectedin the face of emergencysituations.Ultimately, itis the CSRwhocreates a good first and last impression on our clients.\n\nAccepts payments, makeschange, processes credit payments, and other forms of payment while maintainingan accuratecash drawer.\n\nMaintains accurateand updated client information and pet records, including obtaining pet medical records from other clinics and providing administrative support (scanning documents, updating records, faxing, emailing, etc.) to keep accurateand reliable client information.\n\nComplete all tasks as assigned by the supervisor(s).\n\nQualifications & Requirements: \nProfessional and friendly phone etiquette\n\nAvailableto work weekends and holidayrotations, as needed\n\nAbility to properly prioritize and complete tasks simultaneously\n\nAbilityto problem solve and adapt to multiple situations\n\nHS Diploma or educational equivalent\n\nExcellent customer service skills\n\nComputer efficiency\n\nVerydetail-oriented\n\nPreferred: Experience with Veterinary Electronic Medical Records (Avimark, Cornerstone, etc.)\n\nPreferred: One year of customer service representative experience\n\nPreferred: Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures\n\nAt AmeriVet, we’re committed to your growth, development, well-being, and success.
