Our Corry facility is committed to safety, quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.\nAbout the Role\nWe are seeking an experienced Electrical / Controls Engineer who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, improving automation, and managing projects from planning through installation.\nIn this hands-on role, you will support daily manufacturing operations while helping improve the plant’s electrical systems, equipment reliability, and facility infrastructure. You will work closely with maintenance, production, and other departments to resolve technical issues and complete projects that improve safety, quality, and productivity.\nWhat You’ll Do\nTroubleshoot, program, and improve PLC-based control systems, HMIs, sensors, drives, and automation equipment, including Allen-Bradley and Siemens systems.\n\nMaintain and improve plant electrical and control systems to support safe, reliable operations.\n\nSupport site utilities and infrastructure, including electrical distribution, natural gas, water, compressed air, fire protection, and security systems.\n\nManage capital projects, including scope development, cost estimates, project justification, vendor coordination, installation, and startup.\n\nPrepare and track Capital Authorization Approval Requests (CAARs) and support the plant’s capital planning process.\n\nCoordinate equipment installations, plant layout changes, utility upgrades, and facility modifications while minimizing production disruption.\n\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, work instructions, troubleshooting guides, and project records.\n\nCreate and manage purchase orders for engineering projects, maintenance supplies, and capital equipment while monitoring costs and delivery schedules.\n\nCoordinate required facility inspections and annual certifications.\n\nWork with maintenance and production teams to identify recurring equipment issues and implement lasting improvements.\n\nComplete additional engineering assignments and special projects as directed by the Maintenance Manager.\n\nWhat You Bring\nAt least five years of plant engineering or electrical controls experience in a manufacturing environment.\n\nExtensive hands-on PLC troubleshooting and programming experience.\n\nExperience with Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens controls, HMIs, drives, sensors, and industrial automation.\n\nExperience using AutoCAD and reading electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and plant layouts.\n\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.\n\nProject management experience, including coordinating vendors, budgets, schedules, and installation activities.\n\nThe ability to prioritize daily technical needs while keeping longer-term projects moving.\n\nStrong communication and technical writing skills.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).\n\nThe ability to work independently and coordinate projects across departments.\n\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and hands-on
