Neural Nexus - Agentic AI Business Solutions (Field), Director

What You Will Do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world! In this vital role, the Neural Nexus - Agentic AI Business Solutions (Field), Director will lead the strategy, execution, and adoption of AI-enabled field initiatives. This individual will partner across Field Leadership, Commercial, BAI, Digital, Data, and Technology to advance Generative AI, Agentic AI, analytics, automation, and digital capabilities that improve field effectiveness, productivity, and decision-making.

This position requires 2-3 days a week onsite in Thousand Oaks, CA

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Roadmap Development

  • Define and lead the roadmap for high-impact field initiatives, prioritizing opportunities based on business value, field needs, feasibility, and enterprise priorities.

  • Partner with Field Leadership to identify opportunities to simplify workflows and embed AI-enabled insights, automation, and digital capabilities into the field experience.

  • Lead field-focused AI initiatives from use-case definition and prioritization through development, deployment, adoption, and optimization.

  • Partner with BAI, Digital, Data, and Technology teams to integrate capabilities with commercial data, reporting, enterprise platforms, and field workflows.

  • Define success measures and use performance data and field feedback to continuously improve solutions and business impact.

Cross-Functional Team Orchestration & Collaboration

  • Orchestrate collaboration across Field Leadership, Commercial, BAI, Digital, Data, and Technology to drive coordinated execution of field initiatives.

  • Serve as the bridge between field stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into actionable requirements and technical capabilities into clear business value.

Executive Stakeholder Management & Strategic Communication

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Field Leadership and Commercial stakeholders on Agentic AI, Generative AI, analytics, automation, and digital initiatives.

  • Communicate strategy, progress, risks, adoption readiness, and business impact while ensuring field priorities and user needs inform solution decisions.

Driving Platform Adoption & Value Realization

  • Drive adoption of AI-enabled capabilities by embedding solutions into field workflows and partnering with training, communications, and business teams on targeted enablement.

  • Define and track KPIs for adoption, productivity, user experience, and business impact to demonstrate value and identify improvement opportunities.

Change Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead field change management and readiness for new AI, analytics, automation, and digital capabilities, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and deployment support.

  • Establish feedback loops to identify adoption barriers, prioritize enhancements, and foster continuous learning and responsible AI adoption across the field organization.

Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree and 4 years of commercial analytics, sales planning & insights and/or operationalizing GenAI solutions experience

OR

Master’s degree and 8 years of commercial analytics, sales planning & insights and/or operationalizing GenAI solutions experience

OR

Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of commercial analytics, sales planning & insights and/or operationalizing GenAI solutions experience AND

In addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have at least 4 years experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation or resources. Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical field effectiveness, commercial analytics, field operations, commercial operations, or related functions.

  • Experience partnering with Field Leadership, Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and analytics teams to solve business challenges through data, technology, analytics, and AI.

  • Experience leading complex field technology, AI, analytics, or commercial transformation initiatives from strategy through adoption.

  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical field workflows, commercial data, reporting, analytics, and AI-enabled decision support.

  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Ability to translate complex business, data, and technology considerations into clear strategies and actionable plans.

  • Leadership & Influence: Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders in a matrixed organization.

  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business implications for field, technical, and executive audiences.

  • Change Leadership: Demonstrated success driving adoption of new technologies, capabilities, and ways of working.

  • Project & Program Management: Strong ability to manage priorities, risks, timelines, dependencies, and operational readiness.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
