In addition, you will be supporting the Artwork team with artwork readiness by creating and/or reviewing artwork (brand) templates, design templates and review of artwork print proofs, and artwork generated by Amgen partners.\nKey Responsibilities:\nArtwork Design in compliance with Amgen’s Standard Operating Procedures:Design right-first-time artworks, both manually or automatically, for all Amgen products and in different stages of development (test, mock-up, masters).\nDesign artwork templates (design and brand templates).\n\nArtwork Review in compliance with Amgen’s Standard Operating Procedures:Review artworks, both manually or automatically, for all Amgen products and in different stages of development (test, mock-up, masters).\nReview templates: technical layout templates (TLTs), design templates, brand templates\nReview Supplier Print Proofs.\nReview and approve Artworks created by Amgen partnersAssess non right-first-time artworks and perform root cause analysis on a subset of those artworks based on the criticality of the error.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate feedback and revisions into design iterations, as needed.\n\nProvide technical support to the artwork team and Amgen’s outsource service providers.\nCollaborate with printer suppliers to ensure their technical requirements are met and incorporated into our artworks to ensure print readiness with the highest quality standards.\nRepresent artwork team and contribute to cross-functional projects, as needed.\nProvide input to optimize artwork processes, and support continuous process and quality improvements.\nParticipate in team meetings.\n\n Basic Qualifications:Master’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, or related field\nundefined\nBachelor’s degree in graphic design & 2-4 years of Packaging/Labeling experience in a GMP environment.\nProven experience as an Artwork Designer in a highly regulated industry / cGMP pharmaceutical industry.\nProficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools.\nSolid understanding of design and packaging principles.\nExperience with print production processes and knowledge of prepress requirements.\n\n Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Arts, Packaging or Life Sciences.\n2 + years Packaging /Labeling experience with a focus on artwork creation.\n2 + years of relevant work experience in a highly regulated industry / cGMP pharmaceutical industry.\nExperience with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Power Point), visual tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Google Charts), and Document Management System (e.g VEEVA vault).\n\n Skills:Excellent communication skills and the ability to present and articulate design concepts
