Join us and transform the lives of patients while transforming your career.\nABOUT THE ROLE\nRoles & Responsibilities:\nBenefits Program Operations\nSupport the day-to-day operational activities associated with employee benefits programs, which may include medical, insurance, retirement, leave, wellness and other benefits and perquisites for JAPAC and ELMAC regions. \nSupport annual benefit renewals, enrollment activities and implementation of approved benefit changes. \nMaintain benefits program information, process documentation, calendars and operational records. \nTrack benefits activities and follow up with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely completion. \nIdentify operational issues and escalate complex or higher-risk matters to senior Benefits team members. \nSupport testing and validation associated with benefit program or system changes. \nReview, validate and assist in processing benefits invoices. \nVendor & Broker Coordination\nCoordinate routine activities with benefits vendors and brokers. Track vendor requests, deliverables, issues and action items. \nSupport preparation for vendor meetings and maintain meeting documentation and follow-up actions. \nAssist with vendor implementation, renewal and transition activities. \nEscalate vendor service issues when appropriate. \nPerform data checks and reconcile information to identify discrepancies. \nSupport benchmarking and market research by gathering and organizing relevant information. \nAssist with preparation of dashboards, presentations and materials for Benefits team and stakeholder discussions. \nGovernance, Compliance & Employee Experience\nTrack required compliance activities and associated deadlines Support documentation of processes and controls. \nMaintain required benefits documentation and program records. \nSupport benefits governance activities by coordinating information, approvals, and documentation as well as assist with internal and external audit requests. \nSupport preparation and distribution of employee benefits communications and educational materials. \nReview program information and employee-facing materials for accuracy. \nCoordinate with HR Operations and vendors to resolve benefits-related operational questions and issues. \nTrack recurring employee questions and service issues to identify potential improvements. \nSupport enrollment campaigns, benefit launches and employee education activities. \nProjects & Process Improvement\nSupport benefits projects by maintaining project plans, trackers, documentation and status updates. \nParticipate in process reviews and identify opportunities to simplify or improve operational activities. \nDocument standard operating procedures and maintain current process materials. \nParticipate in team initiatives and learning opportunities to build benefits and Total Rewards expertise. \nBasic Qualifications & Experience\nTypically 2+ years of relevant experience in employee benefits, Total Rewards, HR operations, HR, Finance or a related field. \nExperience supporting HR or benefits processes preferred. \nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills. \ncomfort working with data and spreadsheets. \nAbility to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and recurring processes. \nEffective written and verbal communication skills. \nAbility to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners. \nInterest in developing expertise in employee benefits and Total Rewards \nEQUAL OPPORTUNITY STATEMENT\nAmgen is an Equal Opportunity employer and will consider you without regard to your race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.\nWe will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided with reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment.
