In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable software applications under the guidance of senior engineers. Responsibilities\nDevelop and enhance front-end and back-end application components using established engineering standards and guidance from senior team members.\nDevelop responsive, accessible, and user-friendly web interfaces using React, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.\nTranslate user stories, wireframes, and design specifications into high-quality, reusable UI components.\nBuild reusable front-end components and integrate them with backend APIs, databases, and data services.\nEnsure UI solutions are consistent across supported browsers, devices, and screen sizes.\nBuild and consume REST APIs, integrate data sources, and support data-processing pipelines.\nCreate rapid prototypes to validate technical approaches and translate approved concepts into production-ready code.\nWrite clean, reusable, well-documented, secure, and testable code.\nParticipate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality, performance, accessibility, and maintainability.\nContribute to unit, integration, UI, and automated testing activities.\nSupport debugging, root-cause analysis, and resolution of application defects and production issues.\nAssist with application deployment, configuration, and operational support across cloud environments.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, including design notes, API documentation, deployment procedures, and runbooks.\nWork closely with product owners, business stakeholders, UX/design teams, data engineers, QA engineers, and other technology teams.\nFollow Agile practices, contribute to sprint planning and effort estimation, and provide timely status updates.\nContinuously build knowledge of modern full-stack, cloud, AI, and DevOps technologies.\nWhat we expect of you\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or another STEM field, with 2-5 years of relevant software development experience; a Master’s degree is a plus.\nHands-on experience through professional work, internships, academic projects, or personal projects in full-stack software development.\nDemonstrated capability in UI development using JavaScript or TypeScript, React, HTML5, CSS, NPM, and responsive web-design principles.\nKnowledge of user-interface development practices, including component-based design, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and usability.\nProficiency in Python and SQL; familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases.\nUnderstanding of RESTful APIs, API integration, and basic data-pipeline concepts.\nFamiliarity with cloud services and cloud-native design principles in AWS, Azure, or similar platforms.\nBasic understanding of microservices, containerization, Docker, and Kubernetes.\nUnderstanding of software development lifecycle practices, version control tools such as Git, and Agile delivery methods.\nAbility to troubleshoot issues, analyze root causes, and escalate complex technical challenges appropriately.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated build and deployment tools.\nFamiliarity with software design patterns, data structures, test-driven development, and secure coding practices.\nExperience with UI testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or similar tools.\nFamiliarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or cloud-native monitoring services.\nExperience or interest in developing data, analytics, AI, or generative-AI-enabled applications.\nFamiliarity with enterprise architecture principles, authentication and authorization concepts, and API security.\nAWS Certified Developer, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or equivalent cloud certification.\nSAFe Agile certification or familiarity with Agile frameworks.\nEducation and Professional Certifications\nMaster’s degree in OR Bachelor’s degree in computer science or STEM majors with a minimum of 2 to 5 years of Information Systems experience.\nAWS Developer certification (preferred)\nAny SAFe Agile certification (preferred)\nSoft Skills\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down requirements into clear, manageable tasks.\nAbility to document problem statements, technical decisions, and effort estimates
