This role ensures Finance master data is trusted, governed, compliant, and fit for business operations while enabling enterprise transformation initiatives including SAP S/4HANA, AI, advanced analytics, automation, and regulatory compliance.\nThe role serves as the functional owner for Finance Master Data governance processes and partners closely with Global Finance, Enterprise Data Strategy, Technology, Global Business Services, Internal Audit, Compliance, and business stakeholders to establish standardized governance practices, improve data quality, support enterprise programs, and ensure Finance data assets are managed throughout their lifecycle.\nAs both a Finance Master Data subject matter expert and Data Steward, this position drives governance adoption by maintaining business metadata, data quality, lineage, business definitions, governance documentation, and critical data elements while leading operational execution of Finance master data processes.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nFinance Master Data Operations\nLead operational ownership for Finance master data including governance and lifecycle management of GL Accounts, Company Code extensions, Profit Centers, Profit Center Hierarchies, Cost Centers, Cost Center Hierarchies, WBS Elements, Expense Projects, Sales Organization Hierarchies, Country Chart of Accounts, Financial Statement Versions, Account Group Hierarchies, and related reference data.\nData Governance & Stewardship\nServe as Finance Data Steward responsible for:\nMaintaining business definitions and business glossary\nManaging Finance metadata and business catalog information\nMaintaining Critical Data Elements (CDEs)\nDocumenting and validating end-to-end data lineage\nMaintaining data classifications and ownership\nManaging certification evidence supporting audit readiness\nPerforming governance impact assessments for Finance data changes\nSupporting enterprise data catalog initiatives\nMaintaining governance documentation aligned with Enterprise Data Strategy\nData Quality & Governance Execution\nDevelop, implement and monitor Finance data quality controls.\nDefine and manage Finance data quality KPIs and scorecards.\nLead data quality issue identification, root cause analysis, remediation and validation.\nPartner with Finance process owners to improve data integrity.\nMonitor governance compliance and adherence to enterprise policies.\nValidate effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to increase Finance data quality maturity.\nGovernance & Compliance\nEnsure Finance master data complies with enterprise governance standards.\nSupport SOX, audit and regulatory compliance activities.\nMaintain documentation supporting governance evidence.\nParticipate in audit responses.\nDrive governance maturity across Finance.\nPartner with Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit.\nProcess Excellence\nIdentify opportunities to automate Finance master data processes.\nImprove governance workflows.\nStandardize global operating procedures.\nDevelop governance playbooks.\nSupport AI-enabled stewardship capabilities.\nEstablish operational KPIs and dashboards.\nDrive continuous improvement across Finance data operations.\n\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, Data Management or related field\n5+ years of Finance Master Data, ERP, Data Governance or Finance Operations experience\n5+ years supporting enterprise Finance ERP platforms\nExperience supporting global Finance organizations\nExperience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nDeep expertise in Finance master data domains including GL Accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, WBS, Project Systems, Hierarchies, and Chart of Accounts.\nExperience supporting SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations and migrations.\nKnowledge of SAP MDG, data quality platforms, metadata management, and governance tools.\nExperience establishing governance operating models, stewardship programs, and data quality frameworks.\nUnderstanding of data lineage, metadata, critical data elements, and audit requirements.\nExperience supporting analytics, reporting, AI, and data product initiatives.\nFUNCTIONAL
