This role will serve as a key finance business partner to U.S.-based brand, and cross-functional leaders, providing insight into brand performance, forecasting, planning, and decision support for the P&L which includes both revenue and OPEX. The Finance Manager will translate complex market, revenue, and expense dynamics into clear recommendations that enable sound business decisions and strong financial execution in a global, matrixed environment.\nWhat you'll do\nPartner with largely U.S.-based Ultra-Rare brand, sales, and business leaders to provide financial insight and support strategic decision-making.\nPartner closely with U.S.-based RDBU Finance, brand, and cross-functional leaders to support planning, forecasting, financial analysis, and decision-making.\nOperate effectively in a global team structure, including regular collaboration across India and U.S. time zones to support business priorities, planning cycles, and shared deliverables.\nDevelop a deep understanding of the Ultra-Rare market, competitive landscape, pricing and reimbursement dynamics, and key revenue and cost drivers.\nLead or support monthly close activities, including financial review, variance analysis, and issue identification and resolution.\nOwn sales and expense forecasting, annual operating plan development, and long-range planning activities.\nIdentify opportunities to streamline forecasting, reporting, and planning processes through automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to enhance tools, reporting, and workflows that improve efficiency, accuracy, and business insight.\nBuild and maintain complex business and financial models to evaluate scenarios, risks, opportunities, and investment decisions.\nAnalyze actual results against forecast, explain variances clearly, and communicate implications to senior management and business partners.\nPrepare and deliver clear, concise written and verbal presentations with actionable recommendations for leadership audiences.\nCollaborate across global and cross-functional teams, including Pricing, Contracting, Forecasting, Sales Operations, Commercial Finance, Corporate FP&A, Investor Relations, and other partners.\nProvide leadership and financial support on multiple initiatives and ad hoc projects.\nQualificationsBasic qualificationsDoctorate degree and 7+ years of progressive finance experience; OR\nMaster's degree and 8+ years of progressive finance experience; OR\nBachelor's degree and 10+ years of progressive finance experience;\n\nPreferred qualificationsMBA and/or CA preferred\nFinancial Planning & Analysis experience, including revenue and OPEX forecasting\nBiotech and/or pharmaceutical industry experience with exposure to sales and marketing finance\nStrong analytical and quantitative skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Hyperion experience preferred\nStrong understanding of corporate finance concepts and the ability to think critically and challenge assumptions\nExecutive presence with the ability to communicate clearly and influence stakeholders at multiple levels\nExperience working in a global matrixed environment, including support of U.S.-based stakeholders and cross-time-zone collaboration\nSelf-starter who can work with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment\n\nSuccess in this roleStrategic thinker who connects financial results to business priorities and market dynamics\nTrusted business partner who builds strong cross-functional relationships\nClear communicator who can simplify complex issues into actionable recommendations\n\nHands-on leader who balances strategic support with strong execution and follow-through.\nWhat you can expect of us\nAs we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for your professional and personal growth and well-being.
