In this vital role you will a part of Amgen’s HR Integration Product Team, working closely with business collaborators, product owners, business analysts, developers, and testers to detail product requirements such as epics and user stories, along with supporting artifacts like business process maps, use cases, and test plans. This role will be pivotal in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting integration solutions using the MuleSoftAnypointPlatform. This role will involve active participation in new integration projects and providing operational support for existing APIs and integrations. This role will support continuous improvements and automation as well as apply technicalexpertise, validation experience, and a solid understanding of regulatory requirements.\nRoles & Responsibilities:\nDesign and build scalable, reusable MuleSoft APIs and interfaces aligned with API-led connectivity.\n\nHave good hands-on knowledge onDatabricks ,Python ,PySparkto understand and develop E2E pipelines.\n\nDevelop integration flows that connect primarily with Workday (HRIS), SAP (ERP), Fieldglass (Contingent Workforce Management), Learning and other platforms.\n\nApply standard methodologies in MuleSoftAnypointStudio to deliver high-performance solutions.\n\nMonitor and support live MuleSoft applications and APIs, ensuring high availability and performance.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve production issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.\n\nHandle incident response, root cause analysis, and implement fixes and enhancements.\n\nPerform regular maintenance, logging, alerting, and error-handling improvements.\n\nDevelop andmaintainthe architecture vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives\n\nCreate andmaintainarchitectural roadmaps that guide the evolution of IT systems and capabilities\n\nEstablish and enforce architectural standards, policies, and governance frameworks\n\nEvaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the enterprise/domain/solution architecture\n\nIdentifyand mitigate architectural risks, ensuring that IT systems are scalable, secure, and resilient\n\nMaintain comprehensive documentation of the architecture, including principles, standards, and models\n\nDrive continuous improvement in the architecture by finding opportunities for innovation and efficiency\n\nWork with key collaborators to gather andanalyzerequirements, ensuring that solutions meet both business and technical needs\n\nEnsure seamless integration between systems and platforms, both within the organization and with external partners\n\nDevelop andmaintainlogical, physical, and conceptual data models to support business needs\n\nEstablish and enforce data standards, governance policies, and best practices\n\nDesign and manage metadata structures to enhance information retrieval and usability\n\nWhat we expect of you\nWe are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients.\nBasic Qualifications:\nDoctorate degree /Master'sdegree /Bachelor'sdegree and 8 to 13 years of Computer Science,ITor related field\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMust-Have Skills:\nIntegration Technologies: Experience with MuleSoftAnypointPlatform&Databricks,including architecture, design, deployment, and operations. Familiarity with integration platforms, protocols, and standards (e.g., REST, SOAP, ESB).\n\nAPI Design: Ability to design and develop well-structured and documented APIs.\n\nIntegration Patterns: Understanding of common integration patterns and their application.\n\nData Mapping: Experience in mapping data between different systems and applications.\n\nSecurity: Understanding of API security best practices and standards.\n\nGood-to-Have Skills:\nGood understanding of software development methodologies, such as SDLC, Agile, and/or Scrum, software quality management, and change management processes\n\nStrong solution design and problem-solving skills\n\nAbility toanalyzeclient requirements and translate them into solutions\n\nExperience with Human Resources data and domains\n\nGood to have AI/ML & Agentic AI knowledge\n\nProfessional Certifications (please mention if the certification is preferred or mandatory for the role):\nMuleSoft Certified Developer (mandatory)\n\nSAFefor Teams certification (preferred)\n\nDatabrickscertification (good to have)\n\nSoft Skills:\nExcellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills\n\nGood communicationand collaboration skills\n\nDemonstrated awareness of how to function in a team setting\n\nDemonstrated awareness of presentation skills\n\nShift Information:\nThis position requires you to work a later shift and may be assigned a second or third shift schedule.
