Marketing Manager - Prostate Cancer - (Remote)

What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this critical role you will be responsible for leading several marketing initiatives including peer to peer speaker programs as well as congress planning and engagement management.

This individual will report to the HCP Promo Marketing Director and will have the opportunity to shape overall brand strategy as a key member of the Prostate Cancer Brand Team. This role will also have ownership of end-to-end execution on marketing initiatives enabling this individual to further develop a well-rounded set of marketing competencies.

  • Lead peer-to-peer (CME vendor, GPO, etc.) and speaker program initiatives, including:

    -Manage the speaker bureau and own the brand’s speaker relationships including supporting speaker training, compliance, and product theater speaker management

-Partner closely with Legal and Regulatory teams to deliver novel speaker program and peer-to-peer materials in accordance with Amgen standards and principles

  • Lead congress planning and engagement management, encompassing national, local, and APP congresses, and own cross-functional GU oncology initiatives to elevate HCP interactions across the US

  • Enhance relationships with key thought leaders GU and utilize insights gained to develop new content for treaters of metastatic prostate cancer

  • Lead cross-Prostate Cancer budget management process for P2P and congress initiatives

  • Lead key prostate cancer tactics and updates with cross-functional teams for P2P and congresses

  • Contribute to brand strategy, tactics and key priorities like message creation to differentiate our lead prostate cancer asset, uncover customer insights and opportunities to help refine brand strategy, messaging, targeting, tactics and budget allocation across channels

  • Establish relationships with all P2P and congress agency partners and effectively manage agency; hold partners accountable for high quality work, budget execution, and timelines

  • Demonstrate a sense of shared ownership of overall brand and business unit performance

  • Live and role model the Amgen Values and contribute to a welcoming, engaging, and fun environment of industry-leading performance within the brand team and cross-functional partners

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

Or

Master’s degree and 2 years of marketing experience

Or

Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of marketing experience

Or

Associate’s degree and 8 years of marketing experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 10 years of marketing experience

Cross-functional collaboration across internal functions, field teams, external customers and agency partners to implement projects with agility.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
