supports and executes Local study protocol preparation, filing, review and approval in line with\nAmgen processes and policies\nWorks with Global Study Operations (GSO) to ensure preparation, implementation and completion of ASTs\nSupports GSO in participation and completion of global/region studies in the country, including provision of input into site selection\nReviews Local ISS proposals prior to approval and ensures appropriate\nLocal/region/global committee review, if applicable\nOversees in-sourced/out-sourced medical programs and logistics\nParticipates in/conducts Local Advisory Board Meetings, Investigator Meetings and/or Expert Panels\nProvides Medical expertise for pipeline products\nProvides Medical expertise for Health Economy and reimbursement requests\nBasic Qualifications Selection Criteria (minimum Qualifications)\nMaster’s degree in life-science or relevant area, equivalent education history\nMinimum of 2 years in pharmaceutical industry, or proven industry collaboration in academia\nExperience in Medical Department or Clinical Development\nExperience with clinical study management and conduct\nKnowledge of commercialization and business practices\nFluent in Japanese and English\nPreferred Qualifications Preferred Requirements\nMD, PharmD or PhD is strongly preferred\nKnowledge of pharmaceutical product development, product lifecycle and commercialization process with advanced understanding of other functions; including, but not limited to, Clinical Operations, Commercial, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs\nTherapeutic area knowledge and experience is preferable\nNetwork of customer contacts in therapeutic area\nFinance and budgeting experience\nCapability of office works and project managements\nCompetencies\nMedical/scientific expertise, and business acumen\nFluency in English, both oral and written communications\nStrong communication and presentation skills\nContinuously expanding medical and scientific knowledge as well as\nmarket knowledge\nStrong clinical research knowledge (study design, study evaluation, medical writing skills, expert panel conduct, symposium and workshop management, KOL management)\nStrong customer orientation;
