This role is accountable for maintaining publication records in Amgen’s Salesforce platform, driving timeline adherence, coordinating review and approval activities with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring that ICMJE criteria and SOPs are adhered to.\nReporting to the Scientific Communications Operations Sr Manager in Hyderabad, the Publication Coordinator partners closely with medical writers, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to keep publication processes on track and in alignment with Amgen’s publication policies and compliance requirements.\nQualified candidates will possess excellent organization, prioritization, and communication skills. Results will be achieved in a manner that embodies Amgen’s culture and values, fosters trust and respect in team collaboration settings and partnerships, holds ethics as a foundational base in all manner of work activities, and exemplifies a philosophy of continuous team and personal improvement.\n Roles & Responsibilities:\nCreating, updating, and maintaining accurate publication records in Salesforce system of record\nTracking project milestones, sending reminders, and capturing stakeholder feedback to support on-time publication delivery\nCoordinating author communications, including author invitations, reviews, and approvals, with internal and external stakeholders\nCollaborating with writers and subject matter experts to circulate drafts and manage timelines\nMaintaining up-to-date knowledge of SOPs, best practices, and product team dynamics in a fast-paced, evolving work environment\nEnsuring adherence to publication policies and escalating potential compliance issues in a timely manner\nConducting compliance checks to confirm alignment with industry standards (e.g., ICMJE) and Amgen requirements\nUsing productivity applications (e.g., Microsoft 365 applications) and custom AI and automation tools to support daily activities\nEnsuring consistent, high-quality data entry\nParticipating in publication planning and strategy discussions to ensure currency in record-keeping\nCirculate publication drafts for review, track feedback, and ensure comments are captured and addressed.\nBasic Qualifications and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree or Associate's Degree and 2 - 6 years in medical publications or editorial work\nFunctional Skills:\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in pharmaceutical/biotech or other healthcare settings\nProven success in dynamic, matrixed teams\nStrong written and verbal communication, collaboration, time management, and decision-making skills\nCustomer-service mindset;
