We are currently seeking acandidateto join a team thatoperates, supports, troubleshoots, andmaintainsanalytical instruments, while providing expert instrument guidance to users runningsamples. In addition, the candidate will support the effective use of various LC-MS software packages.

As a member of the Analytics team,you will help us setup and operate LC-MSsystems and various automated sample preparation equipment to ensurehigh-throughput acquisition, analysis and purification of small molecule including oligo conjugates to deliverhigh-qualitydata, take part in method development and implementation of new analytic instruments. The position will primarily involve maintenance and setup of LC-MS systems, but also method development and testing of new setups. You will be working cross-functionally with internal groups specializing in DEL-technology, parallel synthesis, medicinal chemistry and biology, and you willparticipatewith your analyticalexpertisein the process of identifyingand purifying various compounds.
Specifically, tasks will include:
· Daily care of ARC analytical and prep LC-MS.
· Keeping LC and MS instruments, including CLNDdetectors, in excellent operational state.
· Software support for all LC and MS based software package
· Supervision of LC-MS users
· Purification of oligo conjugates and other compounds on LC systems
· Keeping track of spare parts for all instruments

Qualifications:
Preferably, the candidate should hold an M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in a relevant technical or scientific discipline and have at least three years of experiencemaintainingand operating LC instruments from multiple suppliers. Laboratory technicians with at least ten years of relevant experience and well-documented training may also be considered.
The ideal candidate will have:
· Proficiency in running analytical aswell as preparative samples on various LC-MSplatforms
· In depth understanding of liquid chromatography and Mass Spectrometry
· On hands experience working and maintenance of different LC-MS systems
· Competence related to manual and automated sample preparation
· Proficiency in AgilentChemStationandMassHuntersoftware
· Familiaritywith Waters MassLynx software
· Knowledge of Shimadzu LabSolutions software
· Experience working with third party analytical software ACD Labs,Mnovaor similar
· A talent for tidiness, data organization etc.
· Excellent collaboration and team player skills
