This role is a key pillar of the Medical Data and Analytics (MDnA) team, requiring a strong blend of leadership, technical expertise, and business acumen to influence cross-functional stakeholders and elevate the impact of medical insights globally.\nIn this role, you will lead the design and execution of advanced analytical solutions that extract meaningful insights from complex, diverse datasets, translating both structured and unstructured data into actionable intelligence that informs medical strategy and improves patient outcomes.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and support the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytical solutions that deliver actionable insights across Global Medical Affairs.\nManage and mentor a team of analysts and visualization experts, fostering skill development, collaboration, and innovation.\nConduct and oversee data analysis of structured and unstructured sources, including HCP sentiment, scientific engagement, publications, and real-world data.\nTranslate complex analytics into clear, data-driven recommendations that inform MSL strategies and enhance patient outcomes.\nDesign and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.\nDeliver ad hoc analyses that distill complex medical data into concise, stakeholder-ready insights.\nGuide development of KPIs to track performance and ensure alignment with medical and business objectives.\nOversee data quality and access, collaborating with IT, data engineering, and external partners to ensure governance and platform integration.\nDrive standardization and scalability through the development of reusable code components, templates, and analytical frameworks.\nParticipate in Agile workflows, contributing to sprint planning and iterative delivery of prioritized analytics solutions.\nBasic Qualifications:\nPhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Healthcare or a related field and 2+ years of Medical Data Analytics, Commercial Data Analytics, Primary Market Research, Performance Reporting or related experience\nOR\nMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Healthcare or a related field and 5+ years of Medical Data Analytics, Commercial Data Analytics, Market Research, Performance Reporting or related experience\nOr\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Healthcare or a related field and 7+ years of Medical Data Analytics, Commercial Data Analytics, Market Research, Performance Reporting or related experience\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience leading advanced analytics initiatives in biotech or pharmaceutical settings, including HCP and patient-level analytics, subnational market insights, and field force optimization across multiple therapeutic areas.\nProficient in SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and analysis with the ability to guide and review technical work to ensure alignment with business objectives.\nDemonstrated ability to build and scale data models for scenario planning and forecasting at both the operational and executive levels.\nExperience designing executive-level dashboards and visualizations using tools like Databricks, Tableau, or Power BI to communicate trends, insights, and performance metrics.\nStrong conceptual problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to bring clarity to ambiguity and structure to loosely defined analytical challenges.\nExperience translating complex and evolving business needs into clear analytical strategies, ensuring deliverables meet stakeholder requirements and timelines.\nSkilled in preparing and delivering medical communications, both written and oral, with a focus on simplifying complex data into actionable insights.\nFamiliarity with analytics for service optimization, including use cases related to automation, service delivery, capacity planning, or digital collaboration platforms.\nProject management experience, including leading agile ceremonies, writing user stories, and tracking performance through defined KPIs to ensure alignment with business goals.\nSoft
