Every day, more than 1,000 colleagues from over 40 nationalities contribute to supply chain operations, manufacturing, marketing and sales of our medicines, and clinical research into new therapies.\nLIVE\nWhat you will do\nAs a Senior Technical Operator for automated lines, you play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of highly automated assembly, Labeling & Packing production systems within a GMP-regulated environment. You act as the technical expert on the line, supporting both operational excellence and team capability.\nIn this role, you will:\nOperate, monitor, and optimize automated production equipment\nPerform set-ups and change-overs\nLead advanced troubleshooting and perform root cause analysis (e.g., RCA, 5WHY)\nIdentify and escalate deviations where required in collaboration with quality and maintenance and support triage activities\nAct as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and first point of contact for technical escalations\nAnalyze and interpret process data using SAP/MES systems\nDrive and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / Six Sigma)\nSupport, coach and train team members, strengthening overall line capability\nEnsure safe, compliant, and efficient execution of all production activities\nWIN\nWhat we expect from you\nYou combine strong technical expertise with leadership capability and a continuous improvement mindset.\nMBO+ or equivalent technical education\nMinimum 7 years of experience in highly regulated automated production environments\nProven experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and/or trainer\nAdvanced troubleshooting and analytical capabilities\nFamiliarity with SAP/MES systems and CI methodologies (Lean / Six Sigma)\nHigh level of ownership, accountability, and structured way of working\nWillingness to work in shifts\nTHRIVE\nWhat you can expect from us\nAt Amgen, we support your personal and professional development-just as we focus on improving the lives of others.
