In this vital role, you will partner with manufacturing and technology teams to deliver reliable, compliant, and innovative data solutions that support critical operations. You will help drive digital transformation, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making through the effective use of PI Data Historian and related technologies.\nAdminister, configure, and maintain PI Data Historian platforms supporting Drug Substance and Drug Product operations, including equipment integration across manufacturing areas.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration between PI Data Historian and manufacturing systems, including MES, PCS, DCS, PLC, SCADA, and related technologies.\nCoordinate with vendors and external support teams to troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues, ensuring system reliability and operational efficiency.\nLead and support technology project implementations and ongoing operational activities, including server deployment coordination, validation support, work order execution, and cybersecurity patch management.\nManage multiple medium-to-large cross-functional initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely execution of milestones and delivery of business value.\nEnsure compliance with cybersecurity, privacy, data integrity, and regulatory requirements through routine patching, security assessments, and adherence to established standards.\nServe as a Technology Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of internal and external audits, inspections, and regulatory assessments.\nSupport the development and adoption of data analytics, data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence capabilities to enhance business performance and decision-making.\nProvide guidance and technical expertise on Informatics and Technology solutions, supporting business priorities and continuous improvement initiatives.\nCollaborate with business, Technology, and Enterprise Architecture teams to support project portfolios, evaluate solution alternatives, and contribute to business case development.\nWhat we expect of you\nWe are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The Sr. Associate IS Bus Sys Analyst professional we seek is an individual contributor with these qualifications.\nBasic Qualifications:\nMaster’s degree\nOR\nBachelor’s degree and 2 years of Information Systems experience\nOR\nAssociate’s degree and 6 years of Information Systems experience\nOR\nHigh school diploma / GED and 8 years of Information Systems experience\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or Computer Science.\nExperience administering and supporting Data Historian Systems, preferably OSI PI, including integration with manufacturing and process control systems such as PCS, DCS, PLC, SCADA, and related technologies.\nHands-on experience with PI System components, including PI Asset Framework (AF), PI Vision, Performance Equations, RT Reports, and other reporting and visualization tools.\nExperience working with databases and data platforms, including SQL, Oracle, Databricks, and other relational database technologies.\nKnowledge of data analytics, data science, statistical analysis, business intelligence, machine learning, and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, Python, and R.\nDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with business partners and cross-functional Technology teams to deliver solutions and drive projects from concept through implementation.\nExperience working in Agile environments and applying Agile methodologies to project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives.\nUnderstanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, including access management, vulnerability remediation, patch management, and system compliance.\nExperience supporting the full application lifecycle, including administration, maintenance, enhancement identification, implementation, and ongoing operational support.\nStrong verbal and written communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in both English and Spanish.\nWhat you can expect of us\nAs we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for our teammates’ professional and personal growth and well-being.\nIn addition to the base salary, Amgen offers a Total Rewards Plan comprising health and welfare plans for staff and eligible dependents, financial plans with opportunities to save towards retirement or other goals, work/life balance, and career development opportunities including:\nA comprehensive employee benefits package, including a Retirement and Savings Plan with generous company contributions, group medical, dental & vision coverage, and life & disability insurance\nA discretionary annual bonus program, or for field sales representatives, a sales-based incentive plan\nStock-based long-term incentives\nAward-winning time-off plans and an annual site shutdown\nFlexible work models where possible.
