The successful candidate will work closely with product owners, architects, and agile teams to deliver enterprise technology solutions primarily using Salesforce, while also contributing to custom web and integration technologies such as React, TypeScript, Python, and modern API frameworks when appropriate.\nRoles & Responsibilities:\nDevelop, enhance, and support Salesforce applications using established engineering standards and architectural guidance.\nDesign and implement Salesforce solutions using declarative capabilities such as objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, Flows, approval processes, security settings, and user access.\nEvaluate business and technical requirements to determine appropriate implementation approaches, including Salesforce declarative capabilities, custom Salesforce development, integrations, and custom full-stack components when needed.\nDevelop user experiences on the Salesforce Lightning Platform using Lightning Web Components and other supported Salesforce technologies.\nEnhance and maintain Salesforce products and solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and platform configuration within capabilities such as Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.\nTranslate user stories, wireframes, and design specifications into high-quality, reusable Salesforce components and user experiences.\nDevelop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and enterprise APIs, databases, data services, and other business applications.\nIntegrate Salesforce and supporting applications with governed enterprise data platforms, relational databases, cloud services, and approved internal or external APIs.\nDevelop and contribute to appropriate unit, integration, API, UI, accessibility, security, and data-validation testing as part of the software development lifecycle.\nCreate rapid prototypes and proofs of concept using Salesforce and, where appropriate, custom web technologies to validate technical approaches and translate approved concepts into production-ready solutions.\nUse source control, code reviews, CI/CD, Salesforce deployment tooling, monitoring, rollback, and incident-management practices to support reliable application delivery.\nWrite clean, reusable, well-documented, secure, and testable Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript/TypeScript, and integration code.\nParticipate in code and configuration reviews and incorporate feedback to improve quality, performance, accessibility, security, and maintainability.\nMonitor and troubleshoot production applications across Salesforce, APIs, data integrations, databases, cloud, and AI-enabled components; support defect resolution and root-cause analysis.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, data models, integration/API documentation, deployment procedures, configuration documentation, and runbooks.\nContribute reusable Salesforce components, engineering standards, and continuous improvements that strengthen the broader Commercialization Technology ecosystem.\nWork closely with product owners, business stakeholders, UX/design teams, data engineers, QA engineers, and other technology teams.\nFollow Agile practices, contribute to sprint planning and effort estimation, and provide timely status updates.\nContinuously build knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, full-stack technologies, cloud, AI, integration, and DevOps practices.\nMaintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and changes.\nWhat we expect of you\nWe are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. or a related field\nApproximately 5 to 9 years of relevant software development or software engineering experience\nDemonstrated experience serving as a Salesforce developer or software engineer delivering enterprise software or data solutions\nAbility to independently deliver moderately complex technical assignments while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team\nAbility to quickly learn unfamiliar technologies, platforms, and business processes\nEagerness to learn and grow in a software development environment\nFunctional Skills:\nMust-Have Skills\nDemonstrated ownership of at least one production Salesforce application, integration, automation, API, or related enterprise software component.\nStrong hands-on experience developing solutions on the Salesforce platform using declarative capabilities such as Flow, data modeling, validation rules, security configuration, and custom development technologies such as Apex and Lightning Web Components\nHands-on experience with Salesforce application architecture, data models, security and sharing, integrations, and platform development best practices\nExperience developing and integrating Salesforce solutions with enterprise APIs and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, or comparable integration patterns\nWorking knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, SOQL, and SQL\nWorking knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and custom web development; experience with React or another modern front-end framework is a plus\nExperience with application security concepts, including authentication, authorization, Salesforce access controls, profiles/permission sets, and sharing models\nStrong problem solving and analytical skills; ability to learn quickly; excellent
