The team builds and sustains enterprise applications and services that support data-driven operational and strategic decisions.\nIn this role, you will independently own defined platform and production-reliability components across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, release automation, observability, identity, security, resilience, and operational support. You will work closely with application, data, architecture, quality, cybersecurity, and enterprise cloud teams to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, supportable, and production ready.\nRoles & Responsibilities\nOperate and support cloud-native application environments on AWS, with a focus on Amazon EKS and Kubernetes-based workloads.\nManage Kubernetes deployments, pods, services, ingress, namespaces, configuration, secrets, health checks, autoscaling, resource limits, and environment-specific settings.\nBuild, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for source validation, automated testing, security scanning, container-image creation, deployment, environment promotion, and rollback.\nManage Docker images and container registries such as Amazon ECR, including image lifecycle, vulnerability remediation, and release traceability.\nAutomate infrastructure and application configuration using Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm, or comparable infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management tools.\nSupport development, test, staging, and production environments and maintain controlled, repeatable promotion paths between them.\nImplement and maintain application and platform observability, including logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, alerting, health indicators, and operational telemetry.\nMonitor availability, latency, errors, pod and node health, API performance, database connectivity, resource consumption, capacity, and cloud cost.\nManage IAM roles, service identities, role-based access, secrets, credentials, certificates, network controls, and least-privilege access in alignment with enterprise standards.\nCoordinate vulnerability remediation, platform and dependency upgrades, patching, certificate and secret rotation, and resolution of security-scan findings.\nLead incident response, service restoration, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous reliability improvements for platform-related issues.\nDefine and test backup, restore, disaster-recovery, high-availability, and rollback procedures based on system criticality and enterprise requirements.\nSupport integration and connectivity between cloud-hosted applications, databases, enterprise data platforms, APIs, and approved AI services.\nPartner with software engineers to diagnose production issues across React applications, backend services, APIs, databases, and distributed cloud components.\nCreate and maintain architecture documentation, deployment procedures, support runbooks, operational standards, and knowledge-transfer materials.\nSupport production releases, hyper care, and an appropriate release or production-support rotation in collaboration with global teams.\nBasic Qualifications and Experience\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent).\n5-9 years of work experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or software engineering, subject to final HR leveling.\nExperience in the global pharmaceutical industry preferred.\nFunctional Skills\nCloud platform engineering: independent operation and improvement of secure, scalable, production cloud environments and containerized workloads.\nDelivery automation: CI/CD, infrastructure as code, environment management, release orchestration, testing, security scanning, and rollback.\nReliability and observability: service health, metrics, logs, traces, alerting, incident response, root-cause analysis, capacity, and resilience.\nSecurity and governance: IAM, service identities, least privilege, secrets, certificates, vulnerability management, auditability, and enterprise control alignment.\nMust-Have Skills\nStrong hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes, preferably Amazon EKS.\nExperience deploying, operating, and troubleshooting containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.\nStrong CI/CD experience using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or comparable tooling.\nExperience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or an equivalent framework.\nExperience with Helm or comparable Kubernetes packaging and configuration tools.\nStrong understanding of IAM, service identities, role-based access, secrets, certificates, networking, and least-privilege controls.\nExperience implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, production support, incident management, and root-cause analysis.\nAbility to automate operational tasks using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or a similar scripting language.\nWorking knowledge of Linux, DNS, TLS, load balancing, networking, and cloud-native troubleshooting.\nAbility to diagnose deployment, pod, API, database-connectivity, performance, and environment issues with limited guidance.\nGood-to-Have Skills\nExperience with AWS services such as ECR, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, Application Load Balancer, Route 53, Lambda, API Gateway, or CloudWatch.\nExperience with PostgreSQL/RDS availability, backup, recovery, performance, and Multi-AZ configurations.\nExperience integrating with Databricks and supporting MLflow or data-platform observability.\nExperience with Open Telemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, CloudWatch, or comparable observability platforms.\nWorking knowledge of React applications, Python/FastAPI or Node.js services, REST APIs, and microservice troubleshooting.\nExperience defining SLOs/SLIs, conducting resilience or disaster-recovery testing, and improving operational readiness.\nExperience with cloud cost optimization, capacity management, and platform lifecycle management.\nExperience operating AI-enabled, RAG, or agent-based services in a controlled enterprise environment.\nExperience in life sciences, manufacturing, supply chain, healthcare, or another regulated enterprise environment.\nProfessional Certifications\nAWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator preferred.\nSoft Skills\nStrong ownership, sound technical judgment, and disciplined follow-through from design through production
