In this role, you will work closely with and under the guidance of a Product Architect and Software Engineers to support the testing and validation of our products, with a focus on quality, validation, and API testing.\nYou will contribute to ensuring data integrity across complex data pipelines, assist in validating business logic behind AI powered Applications and participate in both manual and automated testing processes. This is a hands-on, growth-oriented position ideal for someone looking to deepen their skills in software quality engineering, API testing, and test automation.\nRoles & Responsibilities:\nExecute automated test suites across various layers including translation pipelines, APIs, and proxy layers.\nAnalyse test automation results, identify failures or inconsistencies, and assist in root cause analysis.\nGenerate and share test execution reports with stakeholders, summarizing pass/fail rates and key issues.\nCollaborate with the development team to triage automation failures and escalate critical issues.\nAssist in test data preparation and test environment setup.\nPerform manual validation as needed to support automation gaps or verify edge cases.\nLog and track defects in JIRA (or similar tools), and follow up on resolutions with relevant teams.\nHelp maintain test documentation, including test case updates, runbooks, and regression packs.\nContribute to test automation scripting, framework maintenance, CI/CD integration and Veracode integrations.\nValidate translation workflows across platforms like AWS and integration with existing internal tools.\nParticipate in testing of Fast APIs, glossary creation, post editing of MT documents with the of use translation memory.\nMaintain test documentation and work closely with software engineers, and analysts to ensure data quality.\nMust-Have Skills:\nHands-on experience executing and analyzing automated test suites\n1+ strong experience in Test Automation specialization\n2 to 4 years overall experience in QA & Test Automation is expected.\nStrong understanding of test result analysis and defect tracking (JIRA or similar)\nBasic knowledge of test automation scripting (Python, Java, or similar)\nProficient in SQL for data validation\nExperience with API testing (REST & FastAPIs) and schema validation\nExposure to cloud data platforms like AWS, Databricks, or Snowflake\nUnderstanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)\nGood communication and collaboration skills\nStrong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset\nGood-to-Have Skills:\nContributions to internal quality dashboards or data observability systems\nExperience working with agile Testing methodologies such as Scaled Agile.\nFamiliarity with automated testing frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or PyTest.\nEducation and Professional Certifications\nBachelor’s/Masters degree in computer science and engineering preferred\nSoft Skills:\nExcellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to work effectively with global, virtual teams\nHigh degree of initiative and self-motivation.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities successfully.\nTeam-oriented, with a focus on achieving team goals\nStrong presentation and public speaking skills.\nEQUAL OPPORTUNITY STATEMENT\nAmgen is an Equal Opportunity employer and will consider you without regard to your race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.\nWe will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided with reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment.
