The Data Management Assistant is a part-time (up to 19 hours per week), casual position with no benefits. The expected salary range for this job opportunity is: $18 - $25 per hour.\nThe salary offered will vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to relevant education, training, and experience, tenure status, and other nondiscriminatory business considerations.\nWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual for a Data Management Assistant in Dining Services.\nThis role supports dining operations by managing data entry, auditing system information, and building performance dashboards. You will drive process optimization by streamlining data workflows and aiding the integration of AI technologies. Additionally, you will support ongoing administrative projects and assist with nutrition data analysis to ensure compliance and improve service efficiency.\nSummary of Responsibilities:\nData Management\nSupport administrative tasks such as sorting, auditing and entering new item names in current systems\nCollaborate in creating and implementing systems and processes to streamline data entry.\nSystem Development & AI Implementation\nDevelop and maintain dashboards to track and measure key metrics related to dining data.\nAid in the implementation of AI technologies within the dining hall operations.\nAdditional Responsibilities\nContribute to ongoing administrative and process improvement projects related to the dining system.\nProvide support in data organization and system optimization to improve overall dining services.\nIf time permits, assist with nutrition data analysis and entry to ensure the accuracy and compliance of dining offerings.\nQualifications:\nRequired\nThe ability to calculate and manipulate food measurement math between Imperial and Metric Systems (e.g., cups, ounces, pounds, grams, liters, etc.) and between mass and volume.\nProficient in Google Suite and Microsoft systems.\nAn acceptable criminal offender records information (CORI) check.\nSuccessful completion of required reference and background checks.\nPreferred\nBachelor’s Degree.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nBasic experience with data entry and menu management software (preferred).\nAbility to work collaboratively with various teams and assist in tech-driven initiatives.\nInterest in food service operations and technology integration.\nInterested candidates are asked to submit a resume and cover letter online at https://amherst.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/Amherst_Jobs.
