Leveraging platforms that span Databricks, Salesforce, Amherst’s own proprietary solutions and a growing set of AI/automation tools, this role will help establish data as a strategic, business-impacting product within the organization. This role reports to the VP, Product Management, and works closely with our Data Engineering and Analytics teams, business stakeholders, and technical partners to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and deliver data solutions - including emerging AI-powered capabilities - that create real business value.\nWho You Are:\nLeadership. You put team success first and have a high degree of personal character. \nWhat You'll Do:\nOwn the vision, roadmap and lifecycle of data products for our data engineering and analytics teams, balancing strategic initiatives against day-to-day business demand. \nChampion “data as a product” thinking - helping the organization treat data assets with the same rigor, ownership, and quality bar as customer-facing products. \nPartner closely with business stakeholders across the organization to identify data needs and opportunities that directly impact company KPIs. \nTranslate business requirements into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria that data and analytics teams can plan and execute against. \nBuild and maintain strong working relationships with technical teams (data engineering, analytics engineering, and platform) to keep the roadmap realistic and well-sequenced. \nIdentify and help scope opportunities to apply AI and modern data tooling to internal business problems, partnering with engineering to pilot and validate new capabilities. \nRun agile ceremonies and manage the backlog for data-focused scrum teams, tracking velocity and delivery to keep stakeholders informed. \nPrepare and present roadmap updates, business cases, and project status to leadership and business partners. \nWhat You'll Bring:\n5+ years in product management, ideally with exposure to data platforms, analytics, or data engineering. \nExperience partnering with both business stakeholders and technical/engineering teams to prioritize and deliver a roadmap. \nFamiliarity with modern cloud data platforms and tooling (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, or similar) is a strong plus. \nExposure to AI or machine learning-powered product initiatives is a plus. \nWorked in an agile delivery organization; comfortable with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar. \nAbility to analyze business and/or technical problems to guide data and software development. \nAbility to build strong relationships with key business stakeholders. \nDetail-oriented and self-sufficient. \nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills. \nStrong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadership. \nCreative, innovative, and exploratory skills and mindset. \nA proactive, flexible, hungry-to-learn attitude. \nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment. \nPreferred experience working in the real estate industry. \nOur full-time employee benefits include:\nA competitive compensation package, annual bonus, 401k match\n\nFlexible PTO including 7 paid holidays, 1 floating holiday, and 1 volunteer day\n\nEmployer-paid benefits (medical, dental, vision, health savings account)\n\nProfessional career development and reimbursement\n\nUp to 16 weeks paid maternity leave; up to 4 weeks of paid parental leave\n\nBackup childcare offered through Bright Horizons\n\nMain Street Renewal is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
