Marketing Assistant

Position Summary

Supports the Marketing Department with the exhibits program for major book conferences and provides clerical support for author events, awards, publicity outreach, promotional materials, and routine budget tracking.

Qualifications

Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience: 2+ years Relevant Office Experience

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Experience with digital marketing (email, social media, etc.); familiarity with MS Office necessary. Organizational skills/ability to multitask; ability to travel. Experience with title management systems.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Familiarity with InDesign, Dreamweaver, and WordPress.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $37.334. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
