For more information visit amkor.com.\nPosition Summary\nThe Physical Security Operations Manager is responsible for leading and managing the organization's physical security program, including contract security services, facility protection, regulatory compliance, working alongside security technology operations, business continuity, and emergency preparedness. This role ensures the protection of personnel, assets, facilities, and operations while maintaining compliance with company requirements, Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) regulations, and industry best practices. The manager is responsible for budget oversight, vendor and contract management, and driving continuous improvement across the physical security program.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nPhysical Security Operations\nLead and oversee all physical security operations, programs, and personnel in a 24/7 environment.\nEnsure effective protection of company facilities, assets, employees, and visitors.\nDevelop shift schedules and workforce plans.\nEstablish and maintain operational performance standards.\nOversee security budgets, Staffing, and contracts to deliver operational effectiveness and business value.\nDevelop and maintain security policies, standards, and operational procedures.\nFTZ Compliance & Security Governance\nMaintain continuous compliance with Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) security requirements.\nLead security audits, assessments, and corrective actions to ensure regulatory compliance.\nPartner with internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies on security-related compliance matters.\nBusiness Continuity & Resiliency\nSupport business continuity, crisis management, and organizational resiliency programs.\nPartner with stakeholders to enhance emergency preparedness and recovery capabilities.\nLead security support activities during critical incidents and disruptions.\nContract Security & Vendor Management\nManage contract security providers and security-related vendors.\nEstablish performance expectations, service levels, and accountability measures.\nMonitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.\nRFP, Procurement & Contract Oversight\nLead RFP development, vendor selection, and procurement activities for security services and solutions.\nDevelop, negotiate, and manage security contracts and statements of work.\nEnsure successful delivery of contracted services and projects.\nBudget & Financial Management\nDevelop and manage operating and capital budgets for Physical Security.\nMonitor expenditures, forecast future needs, and support strategic planning efforts.\nOversee security budgets, contracts, and investments to deliver operational effectiveness and business value.\nSecurity Technology & Risk Management\nCollaborate with Security Technology for operational effectiveness of access control, CCTV, alarm monitoring, and related security systems.\nConduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to reduce organizational risk.\nCollaborate with Security Technology and Facilities teams on system improvements and security projects.\nLeadership & Stakeholder Engagement\nProvide leadership, mentorship, and direction to security personnel and service providers.\nDeliver operational, compliance, and budget reporting to senior leadership.\nEnsure continuous coverage and effective staffing levels.\nDevelop shift schedules and workforce plans.\nSupervise Security Specialists and Team Leads.\nCoach, mentor, and develop security personnel.\nProvide leadership with incident summaries, operational reporting, and performance metrics.\nCoordinate with Technical Security teams.\nEstablish and maintain operational performance standards.\nFoster strong partnerships across the organization to support security objectives.\nServe as a liaison between security personnel and security leadership.\nRequired Qualifications\n10+ years of experience managing physical security operations in a corporate, industrial, manufacturing, or campus environment at the supervisor level or higher.\nFamiliarity with CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring, and security platforms.\nDemonstrated leadership experience in an operational setting.\nStrong knowledge of incident management and escalation processes.\nExperience managing budgets, vendors, and contract service providers.\nKnowledge of physical security systems, regulatory compliance, and risk management principles.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong analytical and decision-making abilities.\nAbility to remain calm and lead effectively during critical incidents.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting FTZ environments and compliance programs.\nExperience leading RFPs, contract negotiations, and capital projects.\nExperience with business continuity, crisis management, or resiliency programs.\nExperience leading incident management programs.\nBachelor's degree in Security, Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\nProfessional certifications in security management, emergency management, incident command, or related disciplines.\nRelevant security certifications, including CPP, PSP, CBCP, CEM, or equivalent credentials.\nExperience working with security technology and engineering teams.\nLocation:\nThis position will be based at the temporary Phoenix, AZ site and the Peoria site during the construction phase, and will transition to the Peoria site once factory operations begin.\nAmkor is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
