This newly created role will help keep complex transactions organized and on track from letter of intent through closing and post-closing. The coordinator will evaluate transaction deliverables, identify gaps and potential risks, manage critical deadlines, coordinate due diligence activities and help ensure closing readiness.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys project management, real estate, problem-solving and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, takes ownership and is comfortable managing multiple priorities and holding others accountable to deadlines.\nThe coordinator will work closely with the Transactions Director and will initially report to the VP, Legal & Risk Management.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDevelop and manage deal-specific calendars, checklists and task trackers, as well as a master calendar providing leadership visibility into transaction status and deadlines.\nTrack transaction deliverables and follow up with internal teams, outside counsel and third-party consultants to keep workstreams on schedule.\nReview due diligence materials for completeness, consistency and potential risks; identify gaps and coordinate follow-up.\nDevelop and recommend processes, templates and standard operating procedures to improve consistency and efficiency.\nPlan and coordinate property site visits, due diligence inspections and third-party consultants.\nPeriodically travel to AMLI properties to coordinate onsite due diligence, work with property management teams and provide updates to transaction leadership.\nIntake, organize and track non-disclosure agreements for real estate equity and debt transactions.\nManage disposition data rooms, including document organization, buyer access and tracking due diligence requests and responses.\nReview closing binders from outside counsel for completeness and accuracy and maintain final transaction records.\nCoordinate and track post-closing obligations.\nSupport insurance placements and maintain AMLI’s central insurance database, including renewals and expirations.\nAssist with other transaction and risk management initiatives as needed.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nBachelor’s degree preferred.\nMinimum of 2 year’s of experience in real estate transactions, project management, construction management, property management or another deal-intensive environment preferred.\nMultifamily or commercial real estate, due diligence or property management experience is a plus.\nStrong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\nAbility to work independently, exercise sound judgment and take ownership of assignments.\nStrong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to build effective relationships with colleagues, attorneys, consultants and other stakeholders.\nWillingness to travel occasionally to AMLI properties and transaction-related sites.\nTechnology & Technical Skills\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, OneNote and SharePoint.\nExperience with SaaS platforms such as Entrata, Elise AI, Origami and NAVEX is preferred.\nExperience with deal, document or project management platforms is a plus.\nComfort using AI-assisted tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude or similar technologies is strongly preferred.\nAbility to quickly learn new technology and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.\nCompensation & Benefits\nMedical, Dental & Vision Coverage\n401(k) with Company Match\nLife Insurance\nShort-Term Disability\nLong-Term Disability\nParental Leave\nGenerous rental discount at any AMLI apartment\nTuition Reimbursement\nUp to 20 days of PTO, plus 9 paid holidays\nPTO increases with tenure\nLearn More About AMLI Benefits\nAbout AMLI Residential\nAMLI Residential is a nationally recognized leader in the development, ownership, and management of luxury apartment communities.
