This role oversees all business functions, including sales, customer service, operations, procurement, logistics, health & safety, quality, and people management.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Business Leadership & Strategy\nLead and manage all aspects of the Biscor business.\nDevelop and implement business strategies aligned with Group objectives.\nMonitor company performance against budgets, forecasts, KPIs, and strategic targets.\nDrive a culture of continuous improvement across all departments.\nAct as the primary point of contact between Biscor and Ammega senior leadership.\nRepresent the business at regional and global management meetings.\nProvide regular business performance updates and recommendations.\nLead, support, and oversee all aspects of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP implementation, ensuring successful deployment, user adoption, process integration, and ongoing system optimisation across the business.\n2. Sales & Commercial Management\nCustomer & Commercial Leadership\nLead and support the sales and customer service teams.\nMaintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners.\nSupport business development and market growth initiatives.\nProvide technical and commercial guidance on product applications and solutions.\nAssist in resolving customer complaints and quality-related concerns.\nPricing & Profitability\nReview and approve quotations, pricing proposals, and commercial agreements.\nMonitor sales margins and profitability across all product groups.\nTrack order intake, order book value, revenue performance, and commercial KPIs.\nForecasting & Reporting\nDeliver daily sales performance analysis.\nPrepare annual sales budgets and forecasts.\nProduce monthly sales reports by customer and sales representative.\nSupport strategic sales planning and growth initiatives.\n3. Operations & Production Management\nOversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.\nCollaborate with production teams to maximise productivity and resource utilisation.\nSupport production planning and capacity management.\nProvide technical guidance relating to materials, manufacturing processes, and product applications.\nDrive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.\nEnsure operational performance meets customer expectations and business objectives.\n4. Supply Chain, Procurement & Logistics\nManage procurement activities and supplier relationships.\nEnsure cost-effective purchasing and optimal stock availability.\nCoordinate supply chain activities with the Manufacturing Unit in Canada.\nMonitor inventory levels while maintaining customer service targets.\nOversee inbound and outbound logistics performance.\nSupport supplier negotiations and contract management activities.\n5. Financial Management\nManage business expenditure and departmental budgets.\nMonitor financial performance against budget and forecast.\nIdentify opportunities to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.\nSupport forecasting, budgeting, and business planning processes.\nReview and authorise company payments processed.\nMonitor employee expenses and expenditure compliance.\n6. People Management & Human Resources\nLeadership & Development\nProvide leadership, coaching, and support to employees across the business.\nConduct regular one-to-one meetings and performance reviews.\nSupport employee development, succession planning, and talent management.\nFoster a positive, engaged, and high-performing culture.\nEmployee Administration\nManage holiday approvals and attendance matters.\nCoordinate local HR activities and employee relations issues.\nPrepare and submit monthly payroll information to Group HR.\nEnsure compliance with company policies and employment legislation.\n7. Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Management\nAs the site leader for Health, Safety, and Environmental performance, the Country Manager will:\nEnsure compliance with all relevant HSE legislation and Group standards.\nLead the site's Health & Safety programme and improvement initiatives.\nMaintain and review: Risk Assessments\nStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs)\nSafety Policies\nSafe Systems of Work\n\nCoordinate HSE training programmes.\nManage First Aider and Fire Marshal programmes.\nOversee forklift truck training and certification requirements.\nCoordinate fire safety inspections and fire risk assessments.\nComplete weekly safety observation reporting.\nPromote and lead 5S workplace organisation initiatives.\nInvestigate incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.\n8. Quality & Customer Support\nSupport and oversee quality management processes.\nAct as the management representative for the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ensuring the certification is maintained and all business processes remain compliant with applicable standards and audit requirements.\nWork closely with customers and suppliers to address technical and quality issues.\nEnsure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are effectively implemented.\nPromote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nConduct customer complaint investigations and resolution activities.\n9.
