Must live in Orange County, CA.\nAs an Outside Industrial Sales Rep, you will be responsible for selling conveyor belting and industrial rubber products. You will report to the Sales Manager.\n\nA day in the life of an Industrial Sales Representative can look like\n\nInitiating cold calls (lead generation), traveling throughout the assigned territory, and engaging new, existing, and prospective customers to develop book of business.\n\nDemonstrating product knowledge using samples or catalogs.\n\nPreparing surveys of customers’ equipment and product needs.\n\nQuoting prices and preparing sales contracts for new and existing customers.\n\nWorking with inside sales representatives and other support staff to keep account activities current.\n\nDeveloping and maintaining relationships with purchasing contacts.\n\nEnsuring the timely submission of necessary information for national account reporting purposes.\n\nProviding date of delivery estimates to customers; investigating and resolving customer delivery problems.\n\nWe are looking for you to have\nBachelor's Degree strongly preferred.\n\nValid driver's license.\n\nAt least five (5) years of sales experience. Experience in industrial sales strongly preferred.\n\nProfessional verbal and written communication skills - must have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, coworkers, customers, and vendors.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nMust be able to lift heavy-weight materials over (primarily during initial training).\n\nOccasional bending, stooping, upper body & arm rotation; frequent pushing, pulling, sitting, standing, reaching, and some climbing may take place (primarily during initial training).\n\nLeadership acumen\n\nPositive team spirit\n\nEntrepreneurial and customer focus\n\nLearning agility\n\nAbility to deliver what is promised\n\nDrive for change and innovation\n\nAbility to build relationships through collaboration\n\nWhat we offer you: The benefits of working at AMMEGA go beyond the daily work.
