Partnering directly with Commercial, Category Management, Finance and Supply Planning teams, your focus will be on delivering accurate, data-driven demand forecasts that support product availability, optimise inventory investment and enable commercial growth. In this role, you will combine your analytical expertise with your commercial insight to continuously improve forecast accuracy and planning performance. You will develop skills crucial to advancing in a competitive, fast-paced retail sector, all within a company that prizes dedication and results.\nWhat you will do\nDevelop and maintain accurate demand forecasts across categories, channels and markets, combining statistical forecasting with commercial insight and incorporating promotions, product launches and market trends.\nPartner with Commercial, Category Management, Marketing, Finance and Supply Planning teams to create a robust consensus demand plan, challenging assumptions and ensuring timely, high-quality inputs.\nAnalyse forecast performance and planning KPIs, including forecast accuracy, forecast bias and service levels, identifying risks, opportunities and actions to improve planning performance.\nSupport the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process by preparing demand planning outputs, presenting insights and providing recommendations to support informed business decisions.\nAct as the subject matter expert for demand planning systems, forecasting methodologies and data, driving continuous improvement through automation, advanced analytics and AI-enabled forecasting techniques.\nWhat you should bring\nSignificant experience in Demand Planning or Forecasting, ideally within retail, ecommerce or FMCG.\nStrong understanding of forecasting methodologies, demand planning principles and S&OP / Integrated Business Planning processes.\nExperience using demand planning and forecasting systems, with advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyse and interpret large datasets; Power BI experience is desirable.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights and influence cross-functional stakeholders.\nA continuous improvement mindset, with experience enhancing planning processes, systems and data quality; exposure to automation, AI or advanced analytics is desirable.\nWhat we can offer you\nA competitive salary that values your skills and expertise, because we know you deserve it.\nSecure your financial future with a comprehensive pension scheme, so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing you are taken care of.\nKeep your mind and body in top shape with a health cash plan and gym discounts, with £15 a month towards the gym of your choice.\nTreat yourself and your loved ones with our generous staff discounts and be rewarded for your hard work with our fantastic annual bonus scheme.\nWork with a company that cares about your well-being and success and join our supportive and dynamic team.\nStay secure at work and at home with a complimentary 1Password Family account.
