The role will undertake a detailed assessment of the current Peppermint Dynamics CRM platform, including all customisations, integrations, and supporting processes, and lead the redesign, refactoring, and rebuilding of components where necessary. The objective is to establish a modern, supportable, and strategically aligned CRM platform and support its successful relaunch across the business.\nWhat you will be doing:\nResponsible for providing design and development expertise for the firm's Peppermint Dynamics CRM platform as part of a strategic modernisation programme. The role will lead the redevelopment of existing CRM capabilities into a new environment, refactoring bespoke functionality, rebuilding solutions where source code is unavailable, restoring standard Dynamics relationships, and delivering the migration of business-critical data.\nWorking within Agile delivery teams, the role will ensure solutions align with Microsoft Dynamics and Peppermint best practices, reduce technical debt, improve maintainability, and provide a robust foundation for future business growth and client relationship management capabilities. The role will work closely with internal CMS specialists to support integration and alignment with the firm's Unified CMS platform.\nThe immediate priorities are:\nBecoming familiar with the Peppermint Dynamics CRM platform, customisations and integrated solutions, backlogs and current roadmaps as well as the supported business processes.\nParticipate in Agile Ceremonies.\n\nKey accountabilities:\nAct as the go-to contact for the technical design, development and support of the firm's Peppermint Dynamics CRM platform.\nDesigning, creating, testing and problem solving of workflows, data entry and retrieval screens.\nDocumenting all work in accordance with agreed standards (including DevOps, ServiceNow, etc).\nAnalyse existing CRM customisations, identifying functionality requiring redevelopment where source code is unavailable, unsupported or no longer aligned with platform best practice.\nDesign, develop and refactor bespoke Peppermint CRM and Microsoft Dynamics solutions, ensuring scalability, maintainability and adherence to architectural standards.\nRestore and optimise standard Dynamics entity relationships and data structures that have been modified or compromised over time. \nLead the technical migration of CRM data into the new environment, ensuring data quality, consistency and business continuity.\nWork closely with internal CMS subject matter experts to ensure alignment and integration between CRM and the firm's Unified Case Management platform.\nCollaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust and sustainable technical solutions.\nSupport DevOps, change and release management processes, ensuring controlled deployment of solutions across all environments.\nConduct code reviews, technical design reviews and solution assurance activities.\nProvide expert 3rd line support for complex Peppermint CRM issues and identify opportunities for platform optimisation and technical debt reduction. \nWhat you will need:\nA minimum of 3 years demonstrable track record of working as Developer.\nYou will need to have previous experience with the below tech stack:\nStrong Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Peppermint CRM development experience.\nStrong understanding of Dynamics data models, entity relationships and platform architecture.\nExpertise in C#, .NET, Power Platform, Dataverse, APIs and integration technologies.\nExperience working within Agile delivery environments.\nExperience refactoring legacy solutions and reducing technical debt.\nExperience delivering CRM migration and transformation programmes.\n\nExperience with the following would be beneficial:\nMS SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS , T-SQL, Azure SQL Server.\nExperience within legal, professional services or regulated environments. \n\nKey competencies:\nThe ability to produce high quality technical material, and to identify and develop opportunities to provide business benefit.\nStrong operational experience with an analytical skillset to assess, identify and exploit opportunities.\nExcellent organisation and the ability to prioritise and carry out multiple tasks.\nStrong problem solving abilities with the ability to think ahead and anticipate problems, issues, and solutions.\nThe ability to build good relationships with clients/operational managers and colleagues.\nBenefits, Agile Working and Additional information\nWe embrace agile working and offer a blended approach to where and how we work.\nWe appreciate that people have different needs and preferences and we’re keen to be flexible, after all, we value what you do, not where you do it.\nWe have the following hubs across the UK: Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds, Leicester, Lincoln, London, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Sheffield, Stratford upon Avon and in the South East; Brighton, Chichester, Crawley, East Grinstead, Eastbourne, Lewes, Seaford, Storrington, Southampton & Tunbridge Wells.\n Additional information\n\nWant to find more about our amazing benefits?\n-------------------------------------------------------------------\nPlease be aware, for some vacancies, where we receive high numbers of applications we may need to bring the close date forward.\n\nDue to the nature of the work undertaken, confirmation of employment will be subject to a variety of checks which will be carried out once an offer of employment is accepted.
