You will contribute to multiple teams, architecting and implementing AI/ML solutions to help improve reliability, and accelerate the development process\nYou will work closely with engineers, product owners, and internal and external stakeholders who rely on our AI enabled solutions every day. This is a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment where you'll be expected to take ownership of real, production-facing work.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDesign and develop AI/ML solutions that accelerate product development and engineering workflows.\nBuild AI frameworks, agentic workflows, and knowledge assistants that help teams access and utilize engineering data.\nFine-tune, evaluate, and optimize Large Language Models (LLMs) for domain-specific engineering use cases.\nDevelop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications using engineering documentation, test data, and design knowledge.\nTrain and deploy machine learning models to support Mechanical Design Engineering and related teams.\nPartner with Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, and Software Engineers to solve high-impact business and engineering problems.\nBuild data pipelines, model evaluation frameworks, and AI experimentation workflows.\nDocument solutions and contribute production-quality code in a fast-paced startup environment.\nBring a customer-oriented, team-first mindset to a fast-paced startup environment.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.\nStrong programming skills in Python, Go, Rust, and TypeScript.\nExperience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, or similar.\nFamiliarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, Evals, and AI agents.\nUnderstanding of machine learning fundamentals, model evaluation, and data processing.\nExperience with Git and collaborative software development practices.\nStrong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.\nSelf-motivated, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.\nAvailable to work on-site.\nNice to Have\nExperience fine-tuning or evaluating open-source LLMs.\nExperience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, vector databases, or agentic frameworks.\nExposure to MLOps, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), or model deployment.\nExperience applying AI/ML to engineering, manufacturing, hardware, or industrial systems.\nFamiliarity with CAD, PLM, simulation tools, or engineering workflows.\nInterest in energy systems, power electronics, AI infrastructure, or industrial automation.\nResearch, open-source contributions, hackathons, or personal AI/ML projects.\nWorking Model\nEmployment Type:\nFull-time \nLocation:\nSunnyvale\nWork Model:\n\nOnsite\nPlease note: This role requires working on-site 5 days a week.
