We make power systems that are faster to deploy, dramatically smaller and more efficient, and capable of supporting modern, dynamic energy needs for tomorrow’s most demanding energy consumers.\nScalable in-house advanced manufacturing capability is our foundation for meeting timeline and quality expectation to serve infrastructure customers around the world.\nAmperesand is led by breakthrough energy hardware development veterans and funded by top tier investors who share our vision of building a category-defining energy technology company.\nWith hubs in San Francisco, Reno, and Singapore, our global team is laser focused on building foundational technology to solve the most pressing problems in power infrastructure at scale.\nJoin us in building the power foundation of the future!\nRole Summary \nAs Manager, Supplier Industrialization, you will build and lead Amperesand’s global SIE function, owning the strategy, processes, and team that bring new suppliers from development into volume production. \nResponsibilities \nTeam Leadership \nHire, develop, and manage a globally distributed team of Supplier Industrialization Engineers \nSet priorities and performance expectations, provide coaching and clear growth paths for direct reports \nStrategy and Process \nOwn the global supplier industrialization roadmap, aligning supplier onboarding and ramp milestones to NPI timelines and production forecasts \nDefine and standardize playbooks, tools, and processes across the full supplier lifecycle, from qualification through volume ramp \nPartner with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing leadership to keep supplier readiness aligned with technical requirements and delivery commitments \nSupplier Development and Quality \nServe as the senior escalation point for complex supplier issues, engage supplier leadership when management level involvement is needed \nOversee supplier quality across the portfolio and drive systemic corrective action for escapes or delivery disruptions \nCross Functional and Program Management \nBridge global suppliers and internal Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams on design alignment, material readiness, and DFM feedback \nMaintain portfolio level risk visibility, own global KPI reporting for the SIE function including OTD, first pass yield, and ramp attainment \nProvide regular program updates and escalations to Supply Chain leadership \nQualifications \nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, Master’s preferred \nElectrical, mechanical, or manufacturing background strongly preferred \n10 plus years across engineering, supply chain, and or program management, with 2 plus years in a people management role \nDemonstrated success leading supplier industrialization or supplier development in hardware manufacturing, power electronics, energy, or adjacent capital equipment preferred\nTrack record hiring and developing high performing technical teams in NPI heavy or startup environments \nExperience managing globally distributed supplier portfolios across multiple geographies and time zones \nStrong communication skills across technical and business audiences, able to work effectively across cultures\nTravel Requirement: 30-50% travel required.\nFrequent onsite engagement with suppliers to support qualification, process development, issue resolution, and production ramp efforts.\nSalary: $160,000-$180,000/annual DOE and location\nPlease note: This role requires working on-site 5 days a week.
