They work with various tools and machines to build electrical equipment, and schematics and engineering drawings are followed to ensure proper assembly. \n\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS\nInterpret electrical/mechanical schematic drawings and follow Assembly Instructions to correctly assemble electrical components such as wires, cables, connectors, switches, and circuit boards.\nPerform surface mount and through-hole soldering on printed board assemblies\nUtilize hand tools, power tools, and automated assembly machines to wire electrical systems according to specifications, ensuring proper connections and adherence to safety standards.\nInspect parts for defects, damage, or inconsistencies before assembly and report any issues to supervisors or quality control personnel.\nConduct basic testing procedures on assembled electrical components to ensure functionality and performance.\nIdentify and troubleshoot electrical assembly issues, such as wiring errors or component failures, and implement corrective measures.\nPerform routine maintenance and report malfunctions or repairs to keep assembly tools and equipment in good working condition.\nMaintain accurate records of assembly processes, test results, and any modifications made during assembly for quality control and traceability purposes.\nWork closely with engineers, technicians, and other team members to resolve technical issues and improve assembly processes.\nParticipate in improvement initiatives to enhance assembly techniques, streamline processes, and optimize efficiency. \nFollow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.\n\n*Other duties as required in support of the department and the company*\n\nSUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES \nThe responsibilities of this role do not include supervising other employees.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS \nTo succeed in this job, an individual must satisfactorily perform each essential job function.
