As the POC, they will establish and maintain project plans, recurring action item lists (RAILS), report progress internally and externally, and manage to the Scope of Work per the defined financial budget and deliverables schedule to ensure successful project completion. \n\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS\nManaging project development and execution from initiation to closure.\nWork with the project sponsor (internal or external) for the initiation and execution of the phase gate process.\nDevelop and maintain the project schedule from launch to completion.\nCommunicate clearly the project expectations to the project sponsor and team members.\nResolve issues and solve problems throughout the project cycle.\nPrepare bills and invoices, as well as budgetary and progress reports.\nDelegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.\nTrack and provide compliance reports on project budget and milestone schedule to project sponsor and management as requested.\nLeading, coaching, and motivating members of the project team. \nCapture project results and lead post-project evaluations to determine the level of team success and need for process improvements.\nWorks to become an industry and internal expert (knowledge resource) on the products and systems for which they are responsible.\nBuild, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.\nLeads or assists efforts in creating statements of work when such is not provided by the customer. \nProactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plans.\nCustomer relationship development and maintenance.\nContinuous improvement in processes, documents, and reports.\nContributes to team effort in a collaborative and supportive manner.\nMaintains clean, organized work environment and adheres to all safety standards, procedures, and regulations. \nAdheres to all factory safety procedures and guidelines.\n\n*Other duties as required in support of the department and the company*\n\nSUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES\nThe responsibilities of this role do not include supervising other employees.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS \nTo succeed in this job, an individual must satisfactorily perform each essential job function. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.\n\nEDUCATION and EXPERIENCE\nBachelor’s degree or four (4) years of project management/similar experience required.\n\nCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS\nProject Management Professional (PMP) or other Project Management accredited certifications (CAPM) preferred.\n\nLANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English.\nConversational in any other language is a plus.\n\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS\nBasic arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentages.\n\nJOB SKILLS\nProficient in MS Office Suite and SharePoint. \nKnowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred.\nDemonstrates good judgment and decision-making skills.\nAbility to be flexible and able to function comfortably in a fast paced, constantly changing, and ambiguous environment while maintaining a positive team environment.\nReliable and flexible to work additional hours on short notice to complete orders and/or special projects to meet customer demands.\nUnderstanding and experience in Lean manufacturing environment preferred. Participate in continuous improvement projects and 5S related performance teams.\nA team player that can relate to people at all levels of the organization and possesses excellent communication skills with high ethical standards and a positive professional image.\nAbility to work with minimal supervision.\nWriting skills are required to complete documents and forms.\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS \nAs part of their job duties, the employee must sit for lengthy periods while operating a computer.
