For more information, visit Amplify.com.\nJob Description:\nAmplify is seeking a full-time Lead Professional Learning Specialist, STEM with a background in teaching, coaching, and/or school leadership to join our Professional Development team and support educators and students nationwide.\nLead Professional Learning Specialists (Lead PLS) facilitate high-quality professional learning for teachers and school leaders, ensuring they feel confident implementing Amplify STEM programs to drive student success.\nIn addition, Lead PLS serve as coaches and leaders for a cohort of approximately 30-40 Professional Learning Specialists (PLS), ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across all engagements.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nProfessional Development Delivery\nDevelop deep expertise in Amplify STEM programs and associated professional learning offerings\n\nDeliver high-quality remote and onsite professional development approximately two days per week to groups of 30-40 educators\n\nDifferentiate facilitation to meet the unique needs and contexts of diverse school and district partners\n\nManage session logistics and complete all deliverables accurately and on time\n\nProfessional Growth & Certification\nParticipate in paid certification training to become a certified Professional Learning Specialist (if not already certified)\n\nEngage in ongoing professional learning, including observation, coaching, and feedback cycles, to continuously strengthen facilitation practice\n\nCoaching & Team Leadership\nCoach and develop a cohort of approximately 30-40 PLS through observations, coaching conversations, modeling, peer practice, and written and live feedback\n\nDesign and implement targeted development plans based on observation data, customer feedback, survey results, and self-reflection\n\nReview post-session survey data regularly, particularly during peak delivery seasons, to identify trends and provide actionable feedback\n\nCommunicate key insights on individual and cohort performance, strengths, and development areas to internal stakeholders\n\nPartner in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new PLS throughout the year\n\nShare insights on customer experience and product implementation with internal teams, including Product and Program teams\n\nAmplify STEM Program Expertise\nDevelop and maintain deep expertise in Amplify STEM products, instructional models, and implementation best practices\n\nStay current on product updates, enhancements, and implementation guidance to support educators and internal teams effectively\n\nContribute to internal knowledge-sharing, resource development, and cross-functional collaboration efforts\n\nSupport continuous improvement by sharing customer insights and implementation feedback with internal stakeholders\n\nMinimum Qualifications: \nBachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of PreK-12 teaching experience\n\nAt least 2 years of experience coaching educators in PreK-12 settings\n\nStrong understanding of adult learning theory and demonstrated application in professional development settings\n\nDeep knowledge of STEM instructional best practices aligned to grade-level standards\n\nProven ability to facilitate engaging and effective in-person and virtual professional development\n\nProficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Teams)\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\n\nAbility to adapt to changing priorities and customer needs in real time\n\nStrong organizational and time management skills across competing priorities\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience coaching or training educators using Amplify programs\n\nExperience supporting diverse student populations (e.g., English learners, students with disabilities, gifted learners)\n\nCandidates located in the Western U.S. (Pacific or Mountain Time Zones) are preferred.\n\nAdditional Information:\nTravel is an essential function of this role.
