Our capabilities span medical, sales, insights, communications, and learning solutions across the product lifecycle.\nRole Overview\nThe Program Manager - Medical leads one large or several smaller field-based medical teams, which may include Medical Science Liaisons, Patient Diagnosis Liaisons, Clinical Trial Liaisons, and Clinical Nurse Educators. This role is accountable for client delivery, team performance, compliant scientific engagement, and the retention and growth of assigned programs.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the implementation and delivery of client strategy, contracted deliverables, and key performance indicators.\nManage, coach, develop, and retain high-performing field medical teams through regular one-to-one meetings, field visits, feedback, and performance reviews.\nEnsure team members have the scientific, therapeutic, product, technology, and compliance knowledge needed for credible peer-to-peer engagement with healthcare professionals.\nBuild trusted client relationships, lead quarterly business reviews, resolve program issues, and identify opportunities to strengthen or expand partnerships.\nTranslate program requirements into clear objectives, operational plans, reporting, and measurable team expectations.\nPartner with Talent Acquisition, People, Finance, Account Leadership, and other functions on hiring, onboarding, employee relations, resource planning, and program delivery.\nMonitor program performance, gather field insights, prepare meaningful client and leadership reports, and recommend improvements.\nMaintain current knowledge of the therapeutic area, clinical evidence, treatment pathways, industry trends, competitive landscape, and relevant codes of conduct.\nManage budgets, expenses, forecasting inputs, and team resources in a cost-conscious manner.\nSupport program renewals, redeployment planning, and new business opportunities.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and a medical credential required; terminal degree or MSN/NP preferred.\nThree to five years of pharmaceutical or healthcare experience, including an understanding of drug development.\nPharmaceutical experience managing Medical Science Liaisons, Clinical Trial Liaisons, or similar medical affairs field based roles\nMedical Affairs experience required\nDemonstrated people leadership, coaching, and performance management experience.\nAbility to critically evaluate and communicate complex scientific and clinical information.\nKnowledge of compliance requirements and industry codes governing field-based medical teams.\nStrong client focus, judgment, listening, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.\nAdditional Requirements\nWilling and able to travel 50% or more, including international travel.\nValid driver’s license and safe driving record.\nAbility to complete all required Amplity and client training.\nCore Competencies\nPlanning and organization\nDrive for results\nCommunication\nCustomer focus\nTechnical expertise\nProblem-solving and decision-making\nEPIIC Values\nAll positions at Amplity are expected to demonstrate the EPIIC Values to uphold high service standards:\nExcellence: We set high standards, are solutions-focused, and achieve outstanding results with professionalism and positivity.\nPassion: We love what we do; our energy inspires, engages, and motivates others.\nInnovation: Our ideas set us apart; we are curious, bold, and challenge conventional ways of working.\nIntegrity: We are open, honest, and transparent, doing the right thing with courage and understanding.\nCollaboration: We are better together, actively seeking the participation of others to achieve greater outcomes.\nAbout Us\nAmplity powers biopharma innovation through expert-led teams that deliver.
