As we look to the future, we will continue to innovate through new energy and fuel solutions to deliver on powering better journeys, today and tomorrow.\nAbout the role\nReporting to the Terminal Operations Specialist, you will be involved in supporting the management and coordination of all terminal related operations and to execute excellence in the provision of safe, reliable, and effective operations to ensure delivery of product to customers.\nThe role is based at our Kurnell Terminal and operates on a rotating roster across both day and nightshifts. Comprehensive training will be provided and once deemed competent, you will have the opportunity to work across three key operational areas:\nKurnell Yard, Tank Farm and Wastewater Treatment Plant\n\nWharf Operations, Offshore Operations and Mooring Master activities\n\nSCADA and DCS Control Systems\n\nResponsibilities:\nCoordination of shipping discharge operations and inventory management.\n\nCoordinate and support safe and efficient terminal operations, including product movements, tank farm operations and pipeline transfers.\n\nOversee the operational performance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements\n\nSupport the safe, reliable and efficient operation of terminal SCADA and DCS control systems.\n\nCoordination, Permitting and supervision of terminal related projects and maintenance activities.\n\nAchieve Incident and Injury Free performance\n\nEnsure that the facility operates in a safe and reliable manner\n\nSupport strategic and key infrastructure projects\n\nDeliver high levels of service to internal and external customers, resellers, business partners and other terminal gate customers\n\nMeet all the Ampol and other legislative requirements\n\nEnsure cost effective management of assets and expenditure\n\nSupport stock replenishment shipping operations which include overtime, weekend, and public holiday work.\n\nAbout you:\nYou bring a positive, can-do attitude, with previous experience in oil & gas or other hazardous environments considered highly advantageous. Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience will help you excel in this role.\nYou demonstrate a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards.\nQualification & Experience\nPrevious experience in petroleum industry or hazardous facility, working knowledge of terminal and pipeline operations is desirable\n\nIssue and/or receipt of work permits is desirable.\n\nSAP experience is a desirable\n\nGood sound knowledge of relevant industry and safety standards\n\nStrong planning and organising skills\n\nAbility to work autonomously\n\nSound knowledge of mechanical aptitude\n\nSafety focussed with experience in safe operation of a hazardous facility is ideal\n\nGood communication skills (verbal and written)\n\nProficient in MS Office\n\nAbility to commit to a rotating roster\n\nOur Benefits\nOur total remuneration is competitive.
