This role will be managing a diverse team of software, robotics, mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure engineers and contractors. You will work closely with our CTO, CEO, and executive team to own, define, and execute on our product roadmap and strategy.\nResponsibilities: \nTechnology Strategy & Leadership\nDefine and execute AMP's technology vision, strategy, and roadmap in support of the company's commercial and strategic objectives.\nAlign engineering teams around clear priorities, goals, and measures of success while maintaining accountability for results.\nBalance short-term business needs with long-term technology investments to maximize company impact.\nOrganizational Leadership\nLead and scale AMP's engineering organization across Facility Engineering, R&D, and Software Infrastructure.\nBuild a high-performing culture known for quality, innovation, responsiveness, efficiency, and predictable execution.\nRecruit, develop, mentor, and retain exceptional engineering talent and leaders.\nLead multidisciplinary teams spanning software, artificial intelligence, hardware, systems integration, manufacturing, and operations.\nProduct Development & Execution\nDrive execution of hardware, software, and systems engineering programs, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products and capabilities.\nEstablish engineering best practices, quality systems, and operating processes that support reliable deployments and scalable growth.\nEnsure technology investments and roadmaps are aligned with customer needs, operational requirements, and business priorities.\nCross-Functional & Business Leadership\nPartner with the executive team to shape and operationalize AMP's technology strategy.\nCollaborate closely with Operations, Commercial, Product, and Customer teams to accelerate execution and deliver business value.\nOwn engineering budgets, resource planning, capital investments, and technology portfolio prioritization.\nEstablish and monitor key performance metrics across engineering, product delivery, quality, reliability, and operational efficiency.\nEvaluate technology risks and opportunities, making decisions that balance innovation, execution, scalability, and financial performance.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.\n10+ years of engineering leadership experience in hardware-centric product organizations, including 4+ years at the Senior Director, VP, or equivalent executive level.\nExperience leading multidisciplinary engineering organizations of 30+ engineers and technical leaders across hardware, software, systems, and operations.\nProven track record of delivering products and technology programs that create measurable business value.\nExperience leading multiple product launches in fast-paced, agile environments.\nHands-on leadership across the full product lifecycle, including architecture, development, program management, quality, deployment, and operations.\nDemonstrated success building high-performing teams, scalable engineering processes, and a culture of accountability and execution.\nStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with high emotional intelligence and the ability to influence across all levels of an organization.\nAbility to operate effectively in ambiguous environments, balancing innovation, technical debt, delivery commitments, and long-term investments.
