This role offers hands-on experience in mechanical design, prototyping, validation testing, data analysis, and cross-functional engineering support in a manufacturing and R&D environment.\nResponsibilities Include:\nSupport the mechanical design and evaluation of automotive lighting products, components, housings, brackets, and assemblies.\nCreate and revise 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, mechanical specifications, and bills of material.\nApply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), tolerance-stack analysis, and design-for-manufacturing and assembly principles.\nSupport material and process selection for molded plastics, stamped metal, die-cast, machined, sealed, and thermally managed components.\nAssist with prototype builds, fit and function assessments, dimensional inspection, and mechanical performance testing.\nPlan and conduct validation testing, including vibration, shock, thermal, environmental, ingress-protection, durability, and mechanical-load evaluations as applicable.\nParticipate in design reviews, DFMEA activities, root-cause investigations, and failure analysis of product or manufacturing issues.\nWork with suppliers and internal manufacturing teams on tooling, part feasibility, manufacturability, process capability, and corrective actions.\nSupport process optimization and continuous-improvement initiatives for product assembly and manufacturing processes.\nPrepare and update test reports, engineering drawings, specifications, technical documentation, and engineering-change records.\nCollaborate with R&D, optical, electrical, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and product engineering teams.\nPerform hands-on lab work, data analysis, engineering calculations, and structured problem solving.\nWho we are
