The position supports procurement strategy execution while contributing to project cost targets, material availability, supplier performance, and overall business objectives.\nThis is a hybrid based position, with a preference for candidates located within the Greater New England area, as this role requires the ability to work on-site at least 3 days/week at our Hillsboro, NH office.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProject Procurement Leadership\nServe as the single Procurement point of contact for assigned projects and product portfolios, representing Procurement within the Product Introduction Team and with the accountable project leader.\nManage procurement, sourcing, and supplier-focused activities in accordance with procurement strategies, project objectives, and applicable regulations to support achievement of project targets.\nSourcing Strategy and Supplier Selection\nDevelop and execute sourcing plans for assigned projects based on material demand, customer/project requirements, sales or marketing forecasts, and cross-functional input.\nSupport complexity reduction by selecting standard materials, preferred components, common platforms, and supplier solutions that reduce overall cost and material variants.\nRFQ, Cost Analysis, and Negotiation\nPrepare and execute RFIs and RFQs with suppliers for assigned project sourcing needs.\nDrive sourcing decisions based on total cost of ownership criteria, project timing, supplier performance, and defined procurement guidelines.\nIdentify and achieve cost savings through supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and cost-reduction initiatives.\nSupplier Management and Contracting\nInitiate, communicate, and execute supplier qualification, selection, and contracting activities in close cooperation with cross-functional stakeholders.\nCoordinate project-related procurement contract requirements with Commodity Business Management, Plant Procurement, Contract Management, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategy and compliance expectations.\nRisk Management and Project Execution\nEvaluate sourcing risks related to material availability, supply interruptions, supplier performance, project timing, claims, and potential liabilities.\nSupport project schedule targets, material lead time targets, target cost achievement, target cost improvement, contribution to net income, standardization targets, and recommended supplier coverage objectives.\nMarket and Technology Scouting\nInitiate and support market, supplier, technology, and benchmarking activities to identify sourcing solutions aligned with project needs.\nStay informed on relevant technologies, suppliers, trade publications, industry trends, meetings, and trade shows to support procurement decisions.\nWho we are looking for\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Procurement, or a related technical field is required.\nExperience\nMinimum 5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, especially for candidates supporting technical procurement, project sourcing, or category procurement activities.\nExperience in electronics manufacturing, including SMT technology, PCB, and LED-related technologies, is strongly preferred.\nExperience in sourcing, supplier management, supplier scouting, supplier qualification, sourcing planning, supplier integration, and value chain enhancement is preferred.\nInternational exposure is required or strongly preferred, as the role involves frequent interaction with global procurement
